With the release of Gears 5 less than a month away, Inside Xbox will unveil the game’s Horde Mode! Google Stadia Connect gamescom 2019 conference - Monday, August 19 at 6pm

The second Stadia Connect - which is Google's Nintendo Direct-style broadcasts for its upcoming streaming service - will take place just before the headline Opening Night Life show.

We know "it's all about the games" and that it'll be "revealing brand-new trailers to going behind-the-scenes with our partners".

We have an idea of the Google Stadia games on the way already - but more info, including what we hope to be individual game pricing and timings, would be welcome.

We've got some great stuff lined up for this show -- just to set expectations, there will be some brand new game announcements and surprises, but lots of new content for highly anticipated games you already know about coming later this year and in 2020.

"gamescom: Opening Night Live" will be produced in English and will be hosted live in front of around 1,500 fans in Cologne. This will give gamers worldwide an overview of what to expect during this year's gamescom week.

Some of the publishers scheduled to make announcements and debut world premiere content during gamescom: Opening Night Live include: 2K, Activision, Bandai Namco Entertainment, Bungie, Capcom, Electronic Arts, Epic Games, Google Stadia, Koch Media/Deep Silver, Private Division, Sega, Square Enix, Sony Interactive Entertainment, THQ Nordic GmbH, Ubisoft and Xbox Game Studios. A number of independent game studios will also make announcements.

World premiere content suggests we will see less in the way of new game reveals. Saying that, THQ Nordic and Sega both have new game announcements so I guess they will be shown here.

Between 20th and 22nd August, Nintendo will be launching a series of online videos, each one showcasing extended gameplay from a specific game. Luigi's Mansion 3, The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, and Astral Chain will all get a good airing, as will The Witcher 3, Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020, and Dragon Quest 11 S: Echoes of an Elusive Age.

Yeah, looking forward to the Nintendo content, i’ll Stay away from the Astral Chain stuff though as it’s not long till it releases.

I think Nintendo usually have a Nindies Showcase around Gamescom time, might see something announced soon.

I think the Inside Xbox will be the usual show but with a live audience in the background. I will try and catch the Stadia and main conference. I want to see what an all brand conference is and it's great that Keighley is part of this but it also makes me lament the UK not having its own industry event.

It's pretty odd but, even though I'm a little wary of Stadia, I'm keen to see more of it; how it will work, the games available and whether it will quickly become a major force. I'll be tuning in at 6 to watch.
