I had a t-shirt that said “what happens in the mushroom kingdom stays in the mushroom kingdom” and every time I had it on someone would complement me or make conversation.

I have a assassin's creed syndicate Christmas jumper, t-shirt and cap

I had a really tight yellow “gaymer” T-shirt with my gamer tag on the back, I got rather obscene messages

I was obsessed with the Dreamcast and have around 10 different t-shirts

I had a wii sports t-shirt and headband (I assume it was free but I don’t remember)

I have had a few EA FIFA football shirts and one that I’m sure said PlayStation FC on it

Splatoon squid hat thing

I have an official Kingdom Come: Deliverance lanyard that I think is pretty neat.

Does that first t-shirt have any Mario symbols on it because if you don't know videogames it would sound to the casual observer like you just enjoy a good trip on mushies....

I’ve been interested in getting some Wipeout merch for a friend, is redbubble the best place to go, in terms of reliability and the quality of the product?

Sony did their own official Wipeout merch but I just looked and it seems they've shut down their European merch website :|

Sony has a habit of opening and closing their EU stores. This has to be like the 4th or 5th version. I don't know what's the matter with them. I can only guess the contract with whoever is operating it (like in Nintendo's case, they use The Hut) expires.

Looks like this place seems to sell a lot of what the Playstation Gear site used to https://www.geekstore.com

I still have a few gaming related t-shirts from years ago (Persona 4, Nintendo DS and Ridge Racer Type 4) but don't wear them any more.

When I was a teenager I had that green 1-Up t-shirt that Shigsy wore during the Twilight Princess reveal. Got plenty of compliments from the nerds working in GAME

Also I probably have too many gaming related clothing items. Off the top of my head: Sonic T, couple of Zelda t's, couple of Zelda jumpers, Diamond Dogs hoodie, Sackboy hoodie, Ryu T, Fallout T. I even have STARS and Foxhound patches on my winter coat.

I do have real people clothes as well though. Plenty of shirts and smart jeans.

Pretty recently picked up this lot from Insert Coin:

Yakuza

Metal Gear

RE2 (reversible)

Normally wouldn't have got them at IC's prices but with a 20% discount code I found to use on top of one of their sales, I thought why not. I had to send one of them back multiple times to try different sizes and I guess they mistakenly added reward coins to my account as though each of them were a separate, new purchase. Ended up getting the RE2 jacket for something like £30 down from £90. :slol:

I have a few things from Uniclo and one from Asos which wasn't cured properly so fell apart after one wash but I can print whatever I want myself anyway and not have to worry about the quality being gooseberry fool.

Red bubble is probably a DTG company or possibly screen print for larger runs but it really comes down to whatever artwork the person uploaded which could be crap as well. You can bet 90% of the stuff has no licensing, don't really understand how those companies manage to operate with no intellectual property oversight, not that I care much to be honest, heck I sold a could hundred splatoon squid decals but I took them down after I got the sales I needed to make my store look reliable. There are likely tens of thousands of "fan" products out there that are infringing copyright and pretty much nobody except the license holder cares, I kind of wonder if that's really an issue as games become more and more engrained into popular culture. For me, it's more about the integrity of my brand to at least do stuff I've drawn myself.

There's also the small matter of all these things truly costing about £4-7 to make or even less at scale, so I won't normally by something when I can do it myself and that way it's unique. For example my partner has made a kirby and ditto shirt that are still about as good as the day she made them, must have been 2-3 years at least now.

I've also made a glow in the dark metroid hatchling tee which is pretty rad.

If anyone wants some obscure gaming reference printed on a tee or hoodie you can always PM me, I don't really care about licensing if it's one thing for a forum member.

Redbubble actually have a licencing program now - there are a bunch of franchises/brands you can submit uploads to, they get approved and then sold as usual but with official approval. They automatically went back and "licenced" a couple of my designs which was cool.

I know it's not clothing but that's just lovely. I'd almost buy it just to frame the artwork.
