I'm on 12500G at the mo, and have Fable 2, Alone in the Dark, Dead Space, GoW2, Left for Dead, GH4 and RB2 to finish before new year. So could, possibly, push for 18KG?

This. Always wanted to do it, never seem to find the real enthusaism to try. I suspect I'd lose interest very quickly and it'd be just another sad, failed project...

It would be great if more people did.
I enjoy reading from peoples hearts, as it were, rather than reading some charisma-free review of something.
I look forward to reading your stuff mate - as long as you read my drivel, obviously.

I'm only on 36,000 odd GS at the moment, so I think 50,000 is just about out of reach even with the ridiculous number of games I'm going to be playing over the next 2 months.

Might go for it anyway though.

I'm thinking of starting a 'Gamers Clinic' type thread to help me cut down on the amount of games I'm currently buying. I seem to recall something similar on GR in the past. I've got some ideas of how it could work but not sure if there would be much interest. Basically I've no self control when it comes to buying new stuff and I need the support of people I've never met to help me through. So thats one goal.
Tied in with the above, buy less and get more value from what I've got.

I have no real goals, just enjoy the games that i buy for what they are, maybe lighten up abit, but first to just enjoy them.

I was contemplating a blog like years ago, but to be honest no-one wants to read about a guy that constantly hates every single new release, I would only have like 2 friends reading it because I am forcing them at gunpoint.

Be able to afford some games for once.

To hit 60K before the end of the year. Normally this would be easy but with GH4 coming out, my gamer score rate will drop massively.

20,000 GS would be nice, but I'll not be rushing through games just to hit it by an arbitrary deadline.

I now have a serious backlog of games - not that I'm complaining in the slightest. So, my main goal is to remain disciplined enough to savour the likes of Fable II and Gears 2 before rushing into other stuff.

A gaming blog would be a nice thing to start, but I doubt I'd ever have the time. Hell, when GRcade started I said I'd post more. Just gone through 200 this morning, so that little goal isn't really coming together.

Game specific, I'd like to 'get good' at GHIII (and music games in general really). I'm competent but not dominant at a medium level, on hard though I'm really struggling.

Another couple that Black Stig reminded me of.

With the advent of GH4 I want to become better at GH and Rockband games. I've come close but I've never completed one on Hard. Also I still want to get the 5 star every song on Medium on GH3. Damn you Raining Blood.

finish some games. finish any game. go back and atleast play some of the top notch games i never bother to finish or go back to. i really am terrible that once i stop playing a game for a few days i never go back to it.
unless you count winning everything in a master league season on PES i don't think i completed a single game this year, and probably only portal last year.

and it's not like i even buy loads of games to use as an excuse!

Actually, one thing I really want to do is to sort out proper hosting and an experienced and enthusiastic coder for my website. And maybe call it something else, because Press Start Online doesn't really make any sense when you've not got an offline version.

Why not just call it "Press Start"?

Because I think we're looking at a fortune for hosting. I think that was part of the reason it was Press Start Online in the first place.

I might be miss-reading this, but do you mean calling it "Press Start" without the "Online" bit means it costs more to host? Why is that?

Sorry, not hosting. The domains.

If anyone can find me a cheap Press Start domain, feel free to holler. Though I was wondering about a total change. Something more abstract, like Rock Paper Shotgun (but obviously still game-related).
