Who here has a good gaming mouse? I am looking to buy a wired mouse that is good for FPS. No gimmicks or nonsense, just a great mouse that has a solid scroll wheel, two main buttons and buttons on the side for forward/back etc.

Anyone know of any good ones?

My Razer Death adder thing is good. But I have never had any other gaming mouse, so I can't say it is the best.

I use this.

When I used to play FPS's on the PC it was pretty good, I still have it actually.

Oh, and its not THAT one, but it looks almost identical.

Pretty much all you need in a mouse. All the gaming mice are overpriced nonsense as far as I'm concerned.

Yeah I wouldn't pay over £20 unless you really like the look of a specific one. I never have and I've not had any issues. Plus if you're doing a lot of gaming you'll go through one every year or two anyway.

Logitech G400:

It's almost identical to the MX518, which was pretty well regarded. It's got pretty much everything you asked for - forward and back buttons on the side, decent scroll wheel, without any flashy/shitty gimmicks like lights everywhere or 'edgy' styling that makes it look like it was designed by a 14 year old who'd watched Transformers too many times. Around £25 too, so reasonably priced.

I have an earlier Logitech mouse (the G5), but it's more or less the same shape and design with the same button layout. It's superb, and assuming this one is good or better you'll really appreciate the higher resolution setting. I wouldn't go crazy with the crazy expensive gaming mice, but it's worth paying the little extra for a decent one over a regular one.
