Gay/bi people can't be big strong alpha males?

And the way he gets upset over a comic book character but twists it into "but what about my free speech!". Odious frog faced banana split.

"Rather than fighting enemies who want to destroy the world, he'll be fighting climate change". Hmm.

Farage also confused why the son of the most famous fictional refugee in history would campaign for refugees.

He's no match for Captain Britain, powered by Bisto and the unlimited hostility towards foreigners and progression!

In the comics at the minute, the new Captain Britain is a woman and a mutant and because the British government is extremely right-wing they hate her and want her replaced by a white man.

Is the part in bold also in the comics, or are you just stating facts at that point?

Pure fiction of course. The UK in the Marvel universe has also pulled out of a important trading agreement with the mutant nation for entirely racist nationalistic reasons. As if something like that would ever happen in real life!

Does anyone really give a flying strawberry float about Farage's opinion on comic books? Probably hasn't read one since Victory or Tommy Gun or some other 60s jingoistic bollocks. They ought to bring back Dan Dare and Roy of the Rovers in a loving relationship adopting an Afghan immigrant child purely to spite the odious little banana split.

Farage is probably not even thinking about the right Superman and is thinking of Clark Kent, which isn't the current Superman that has come out as bisexual.

No.

But I do care about him continuing to radicalise people against minorities.

A few changes to GB News as they're now doing on-the-hour news bulletins, fronted by Paula Middlehurst (formerly of Sky News).

They're also inviting on even more dubious characters, such as...

Image

Wikipedia describes him as being a "British far-right political figure, author and journalist, who was previously active in a number of groups and campaigns, including the British National Party and Liberty GB. In 2017 he was associated with Anne Marie Waters and the For Britain Movement party."

They once again set a new record though, as their audience share has dropped to 949,000.

Another record broken for low viewership. Will probably need to issue some nonsense press release about 'engagement'. Problem is they've now gone so right-wing they're just appealing to cranks and conspiratorial fruitcakes.

I don’t know how much they have to pay for the broadcasting, but it must be getting to the point where it would be cheaper for them to post out USB sticks.

The veteran broadcaster Eamonn Holmes is reportedly leaving ITV’s flagship daytime programme This Morning after 15 years to join the struggling rightwing network GB News.

Holmes’s decision to join the likes of Nigel Farage and the former News of the World showbiz editor Dan Wootton at GB News comes after he was the subject of a watchdog inquiry when – during the first wave of the Covid pandemic – he suggested conspiracy theories linking coronavirus to 5G phone masts should not be dismissed, in an outburst that railed against the “mainstream media”.

The regulator Ofcom issued guidance to ITV over the comments and Holmes provided a clarification the following day, distancing himself from the conspiracy theories.

According to the Mirror, Holmes will front his own show several times a week at GB News. An unnamed source told the newspaper: “Eamonn’s move to GB News marks the end of an era. He’ll be missed by many ITV viewers but, the truth is, this job offer probably came at just the right moment for both him and ITV. All good things come to an end.”

Sad way to end a career.

I see Neil has branded GB News a "UKIP Tribute Act".

I wonder if he'd be saying this had it been a huge hit?

You only have to look at the latest ratings to see how dependent the channel is on Farage...just like UKIP was.

Some of the top-ten shows have fewer views than this thread.
