I hope it's left to the work experience kid at the last minute, who then proceeds to load the car up with Tyskie.

Get given the pint, loudly exclaim it's it as good as German beer, then leave.

In fact, it'd be cheaper to get a large group to buy every ticket, use those to get their beer, so a half priced large round of drinks, drink them and then all leave.

Wait until he starts and then disrupt the live broadcast.

Gonna throw it out there: he seems like quite a nice bloke. If you're an actor who looks like Churchill then you'd totally coin it in wouldn't you? Interviewing him in person is strawberry floating pure Partridge though :slol: :fp:

He's probably on that old lookalike agency thread we had

They should turn it into a recurring segment where each week a Great Briton turns up. Next week: Jack The Ripper.

The further back you go, the more awkward it becomes for the GB News audience.

Victoria:
+ empirical domination!
- ruled by German woman

Florence:
- private healthcare!
- goes abroad to heal sick foreigners

Cromwell:
+ hated the Irish!
- hated the monarchy

William 1:
+ first British monarch!
- invading French bloke whose family still rule

Jesus:
+ did his feet in ancient times etc
- ethnic minority, refugee, socialist

I've been silenced!

Read all about it in my new book, which I'll be discussing on several TV and radio shows this week!

"The current climate, it seems quite brutal..."

Mate, you're talking to an actor pretending to be a dead Prime Minister who had to contend with the invasion of Britain and fascist control of most of Western Europe. You're getting annoyed at some footballers kneeling before a match and a statue in Bristol being removed.

Though as others have said, Churchill being a salve for all modern social ills is a weird one, as they mention that even the people of 1945 didn't want him to continuing governing.

I think Scotland and Wales might have something to say about him being a "British" monarch.

And he wasn't really French.

Absolutely true to form for the English: after several years of Attlee's Labour building a welfare system, Churchill was re-elected (despite getting fewer votes than Attlee) on the basis that they'd stop the ongoing planned nationalising of resources.

Yep, nobody liked him and it was only the war that kept him in power. As soon as it was over he was voted out
