I liked Mark Kermode until I saw his hair cut. :dread:

Just kidding, it's good to see he has his principles. I used to love listening to the Mayo/Kermode film review on 5Live on my Friday commute home. Not listened to it in quite some time now due to working from home and the slow cinema years.

Newsreader Simon McCoy has announced he is quitting GB News for "personal reasons", a spokesperson for the channel has said.

According to the BBC, the decision regarding McCoy's departure was made some months ago.

The news of McCoy stepping down comes hours after it was confirmed Eamonn Holmes, 62, would be moving from ITV's This Morning to host a new breakfast programme with Isabel Webster.

Earlier in the year Kirsty Gallacher also said she would be "stepping back", after finding a tumour in her ear.

All these formerly respected journalists, strawberry floating up their careers with leaps to the right. Hard to feel sorry for Allegra Stratton and Simon McCoy this week.

I don't know about McCoy, but Stratton has always been a horrible banana split.
