Ratings for Night 2 of TalkTV - Morgan down 100,000 viewers on Monday, The Talk down 24,000.

7pm-8pm (The News Desk): 44,000
8pm-9pm (Piers Morgan Uncensored): 216,000
9pm-10pm (The Talk with Sharon Osborne): 20,000

Either side of Morgan being beaten by equally hopeless ratings on GB News:

7pm-8pm: 73,000
8pm-9pm: 41,000
9pm-10pm: 59,000

Wasn't it also Part 2 of the Trump interview?
I'm not going to be surprised to see Morgan's ratings massively drop again now that's done.

I think The News Desk at 7 also had Boris Johnson on, and yet still managed to lose viewers from night 1.

Graphic and set design is very American from what I've seen on Twitter.

I didn't realise it was literally just 3 hours of new programming and then the rest of the schedule was made up from TalkRadio.

TalkRadio's ratings are extremely low from what I understand, and I think they usually get sub 500 viewers when streaming on YouTube. I don't see how this is a sustainable model. Morgan has gone to one of the most niche channels he could have picked. I'm amazed he didn't go to Sky News, although it feels like Sky News are slowly winding down or could be ripe for a sell.

I guess it's probably just a way to get Morgan on the Murdoch books, and they can sell the programme to Fox and Sky News Australia.

TalkTV viewership disintegrating as the fledgling channel concludes Night 3

Piers Morgan Uncensored once again found itself shedding viewers on Wednesday night according to the latest BARB figures, with 123,000 deciding to tune in for Morgan’s interviews with boxing champion Tyson Fury and controversial FOX News host Tucker Carlson.

An hour earlier, Tom Newton Dunn’s The News Desk dropped to 15,300, and The Talk at 9pm featuring Sharon Osbourne lost almost all of its viewers, falling to a minuscule 9,700.

I'm at my aunt and uncle's tonight and they really wanted to watch the Piers/Trump interview. They didn't record it properly so I managed to avoid it, but I did have to watch about 20 minutes of tonight's trying to figure out if it was salvageable.

My god, I wanted to swallow a bullet.

Suggestion for thread title if its now a combined GB News & Talk tv thread: GBeebies Talk Trash.

Astounding that Talk TVs adverts are basically 'look how offensive Piers Morgan is'. :fp: Comical that viewing figures suggest such a minority of people want to hear what he has to say.

The silly neighbourhood vegetable.

Are Discovery (now Warner Bros. Discovery) still helping to fund GB News? With the drastic cost cutting they’re doing over in the States I’d find it absolutely remarkable if they’re still pumping money into a failing news channel.

All I see here is that there is not much market for news channels in the UK, these 24 hour news stations seem overkill to me.

I think most people are happy watching a bit of morning news like GMGB/BB1 Breakfast and maybe news at 6 or 10 and a lot of people get updates on phones anyway during the day.

24 hour news is great. You can tune in at a time that suits you when there is a big news story on, which likeliness is you already know about through online sources. These channels arent the same thing, they're opinion channels. Tune in at any time if you're not already angry at something but feel the need to be. Good luck to them!

It seems the people who deride the "MSM" and want "all sides of the debate" would actually rather watch the BBC and moan about it being a "wokie's paradise" than listen to a channel actually telling them what they want to hear...

Piers Morgan's ratings continued their slide Monday night as his TalkTV show "Piers Morgan Uncensored" attracted a new low of 75,800 from 8 to 9pm.

An hour earlier, The News Desk with Tom Newton Dunn fell to 3,600, and The Talk at 9pm sank to just a few thousand.

I think politics is more of a team sport in America, its all about your side winning and "owning the libs". There isn't that thirst over here it's just about strawberry floating the poor over and forgetting about them.

I actually reckon Piers Morgan would find success on radio (exactly the kind of shite you’d expect a joiner or something to have blasting out of his stereo on a job), but I don’t think his ego could handle moving his banana split mug off the airwaves.

(No offence to any tradesmen here)
