I think he will get a nightly show of his own. I can see Neil moving to front a lunchtime or Sunday show.

Was Farage's radio show popular on LBC?

It's had one particularly hilarious call I saw, where a guy said he'd had a revelation and agreed with Farage after a horse kicked him in the head or something!

I'm guessing ratings weren't great as they felt confident enough to let him go. But he stuck out as a sore thumb on the station at the time.

We can get some fun out of suggestions until then though.

He's announcing that the EU have employed him as Ambassador to the United Kingdom.

Can't some terrible yet totally random event eliminate Farage from existence yet?

The universe tried to kill him with the plane crash, but all that hatred has made him indestructible.

It's a complete rebrand. Farage will take over the station and it's going to be renamed.

Yep, getting a Rush Limbaugh kind of show. How on earth are they going to manage that in terms of balance.

It's also such a comically desperate move.

What advertiser is going to want to touch that hour with a rusty bargepole. It’ll be the highest rated show they have but it won’t make them any money.

They couldn’t even announce this live on their TV station because they’re running repeats. :fp:

Although I'm sure it's going to be another night of hilarity for Gbeebies, I'm not going to give them a viewing figure by tuning in to Farage tonight to laugh at it. I'll stick to non-affiliated twitter clips I think. Since they are bordering on collapse, I'm not going to be part of any curiosity boost so that Farage can come out and say that he saved the channel and that the launch was a huge success.

It will be just as fun in a few years when this channel is consigned to clip shows like TV:AM.

"The London-based mainstream media is hopelessly out of touch with the general public" says Nigel Farage, now working for the London-based GB News.

GB News is also now outputting some (all?) of their programming in mono audio. Straight out of the 1970s.

Thank goodness Nigel has finally found a platform because up until today, he was never on the telly.

Did I say on, I meant off. The number of these arseholes bleating about not getting their voice heard or saying things the establishment won't let them whilst simultaneously being on every single strawberry floating channel is ridiculous.

I flicked over for another laugh yesterday but it was immediately awful this time – that horrific, ghastly banana split (whose name I don't even want to find out but I think he's the 'main' presenter after Neil) said "Coming up at 11 on 'Uncancelled', [some prick] tells us why the problem of racism in sport has actually been massively overblown". The channel was changed as quickly as possible.

Thank god we'll be saved from the London media by Nigel Farage who lives in......London?

That would actually be less crazy than what's going on these days.
