The only reason you would tell people that is in the hopes of having that exact reaction. He should be thankful Sweeny Todd wasn't doing his hair.

Yeah, the only explanations are he made up the entire story (evens) or he's constantly telling people in order to desperately have a "cancel culture" story to moan about (2-1). Or maybe he's telling the truth (10-1) and some evil lefty barber actually stopped a haircut just because of where the guy worked (2.5million to 1).

I thought Piers Morgan had already departed for his 'holiday', but apparently he's still on and still getting his arse destroyed.

The latest BARB figures for Monday May 30 2022 reveal that Piers Morgan and TalkTV are still struggling to pull in much of an audience.

Even GB News thrashed them in every prime time slot, with Nigel Farage miles ahead with 99,000 viewers at 7pm.

Piers Morgan Uncensored managed 42,500 at 8pm, though embarrassingly for Morgan the last quarter of his show recorded a zero percentage audience share.

Tom Newton Dunn at The News Desk sank without a trace, with only 4,600 people tuning in at 7pm.

Things didn't get any better after Piers Morgan, with Sharon Osborne rising to only 2,200 viewers across the 9pm hour.

TalkTV averaging just 5,000 viewers a day

The average number of people watching TalkTV has dropped to new lows according to data supplied by ratings body BARB.

The channel, which has struggled to gain an audience since its inception in April, averaged just 5,000 viewers throughout the day on Thursday, June 2 2022.

TalkTV peaked at 8pm with an average of 36,000 across the hour.

Its main rival, GB News, also failed to garner a big following but still managed to beat TalkTV on Thursday, with 32,000 tuning in on average.

Sky News managed 144,000, while BBC News pulled in 179,000.

This is seriously pathetic.

Murdoch burning through millions of pounds to attract viewership numbers which would shame the most niche of YouTube channels.

The attack is focused on Sue Gray condemning a culture of drunkenness. Apparently, she can't do that because she once sang on a karaoke machine :slol: why is the right-wing so deranged.

I don't care if she was singing karaoke pre-pandemic. But it does show how cosy she must be with the Tory top brass. While her report wasn't a whitewash in favour of Johnson, there was a lot of stuff left out and watered down.

Harwood reminds me of an awful lot of people I met at university in halls. Posh accent, pretty face, completely thick but got where they are based on the school they attended and how much work the staff there did to get them through their exams.

I've always assumed it's a grift and they know what they're doing, but maybe I've been too kind....

"Person who said murder is wrong did a murder! That means murder must be ok!"

There are few things that annoy me more than the appeal to hypocrisy fallacy

GB News: One Year On - The Media Show

GB News launched one year ago this week. It promised to disrupt - to hear people, places and issues that other media outlets weren’t paying attention to. The show’s design was certainly different. The opening monologue came from a studio that was almost entirely black. Viewers were noting this, they were noting sound issues too – the start of a range of technical issues for the network as a whole. Within weeks Andrew Neil was on holiday never to return. Within months, Nigel Farage had taken over a primetime show of his own. GB News Chief Executive, Angelos Frangopoulos talks to The Media Show about where the channel has come from and where it goes next.

Presenter: Ros Atkins

Producer: Helen Fitzhenry

Question Time

Fiona Bruce presents an hour of topical debate from Dorking. On the panel: Chris Philp MP, minister for Tech and the Digital Economy, Conservative; Wes Streeting MP, shadow health secretary, Labour; Layla Moran MP, Foreign Affairs spokesperson for the Liberal Democrats; Rory Stewart, author, podcaster and former Conservative minister; and Tom Harwood, journalist and political correspondent at GB News.

Must be GB News week at the BBC.
