3600

Roughly half the attendance of a Bristol Rovers match.

Bristol Rovers has that many fans?

Away fans count.

It's happened, they've hit the dreaded BARB zero rating.

TalkTV viewership drops to nothing at 7pm

The beleaguered station hit a new low Tuesday night, the latest BARB figures reveal, as The News Desk with Tom Newton Dunn twice registered viewership of statistically zero - with nobody watching between 7pm-7:15pm and 7:30pm-7:45pm - only managing a slot average of 4,800, with people mainly tuning in during the last quarter for Piers Morgan at 8pm.

Piers Morgan Uncensored, which on social media has begun trending as 'Piers Morgan Unwatched', averaged 76,700. As of Wednesday morning, a further 5,200 had streamed the show worldwide on his dedicated YouTube channel.

All this talk of anti-woke coverage and they've ended up cancelling themselves. Amazing.

The amazing thing about Piers Morgan's "luv him or hate him you're gonna wanna tune in" nonsense is that absolutely no one gives a strawberry float.

There hasn't been a flurry of clips from his show being shared around Twitter like you constantly see with Fox News. He's either not really saying anything any more outrageous than you already get in the right wing press or he's just not enough of a draw to switching on a new channel.

Piers Morgan is strawberry floated because he made the mistake of pissing everyone off.

Somebody like Farage knows he has to keep his base support (the racists) on his side. It doesn't matter if everyone else hates him.

Morgan pissed off left leaning people years ago. He then pissed off the anti-mask/anti-vaxx crowd. Then he pissed off the Trump lovers. His hatred of Meghan is about the only thing left keeping a few people interested, nobody else gives a gooseberry fool.

Rebekah Brooks should have listened to the media executive who judged a new TV news channel was doomed to fail.

She said the company would instead focus on reaching news audiences via shows on streaming platforms, adding: “While there is consumer demand for alternative news provision, the costs of running a rolling news channel are considerable, and it is our assessment that the payback for our shareholders wouldn’t be sufficient. We need to launch the right products for the digital age".

Who was that again?

Totally agree. He doesn't really have a target audience now. He was only successful in the morning TV slot to the kind of people that liked Jeremy Kyle. Not to mention that Breakfast TV has been stale for decades now so it was easy to stand out.

The Megan hate, I think, gains him no traction as royalists and flag wavers remember when he printed fake news about British soldiers.

The entire channel is a complete waste of money, which is fantastic news considering whose money it is. I wonder if Morgan's international viewing figures even make the production costs worth it.

Yep. I'd imagine GMB has a loyal audience that always tunes in no matter who's presenting. Trouble is, that audience is probably getting rather ancient now!

Donald Trump now sticking the boot in to Piers…

Ratings for the Piers Morgan interview with me were great! Unfortunately, after that interview, his show bombed completely because of the fake narrative he tried to portray. The fact is, I got a new closeup glimpse at Piers, and he no longer has what it takes. It’s over for him!

Sad!

Piers Morgan Uncensored was beaten by both the BBC and Sky in the Wednesday night ratings, according to new BARB data.

The BBC News channel pulled in 127,000 at 8pm across the hour, followed by Sky News with 84,000.

Piers Morgan on TalkTV however only managed 77,000.

On social media, Morgan's colleague Tom Newton Dunn has hit out against those criticising the new station.

Posting on Twitter, the former political editor at The Sun echoed Morgan's comments that it's no longer about TV audiences.

"It’s not all about linear watching any more, which is all the daily BARB figures show. Today, there is also streaming, digital engagement and apps, which is where TV watching is going. Fwiw, we’re pleased with how much attention we’re getting so far on all these forums,

Dunn continued, "Yes, our linear watching is low - though it fluctuates - that’s undeniable. It’s very hard to break into a crowded market place, as others have shown in the last year but have gone on to do well. It always takes a long time to change people's habits and build a firm audience.

"We have a brilliant and hugely hard working team, and we have patience. What matters to us now is we’re producing an interesting news programme that does things differently and offers viewers choice. If we can keep that up, we’re confident we can slowly build a loyal audience."

When your television ratings are great, it's all about television ratings. When your television ratings are completely in the toilet, it's all about ENGAGEMENT. See: Morgan at the start of last week vs. Morgan at the end of the week when it had all collapsed.

Give it a week and GBeebies will retaliate by giving somebody from All Saints a 5 hour show.

Piers Morgan Uncensored struck yet another new low Wednesday night, with Morgan's much hyped show down once again to 44,000 viewers at 8pm.

Viewership across prime time, categorised as 7 to 11pm, fell to just 21,900, beaten by its right-wing rival GB News on 49,400.
