GB News does very well on TikTok in terms of followers and 'engagement' (in fact all social media, with the exception of Instagram) but makes very little money from it.

Instead the advertising boycott on TV is "a real problem" and hurting them a lot according to their CEO Angelos Frangopoulos.

I wouldn't be surprised if what's now worrying GB News is the fact those who partially funded it the first time (Discovery) are now Warner Bros Discovery and they're on a budget slashing exercise. They pumped in what looks to be around £50,000,000 the first time. When the money runs out at GB News, will Warner be there to prop them up a second time? No. So unless you can find new backers (who are in all likelihood willing to continue making a loss) or actually turn a profit, you're in the gooseberry fool. You look at GB News as a backer, and you've got virtually no viewers outside of primetime, you've got no advertising to speak of, you'd have to be doing it purely for ideological reasons. Maybe their best hope is Rupert Murdoch stepping in and rolling TalkTV into GB News.

After Scott Bryan had informed his followers on Twitter about Piers Morgan's latest round of television ratings on TalkTV, the TV critic and broadcaster was promptly blocked by the outspoken host on the social media platform.

"Piers Morgan Uncensored continues to experience some of his lowest overnight ratings yet. His first episode in April had 317,000 viewers. Last night's episode had *just* 32,000 viewers, a tenth of that."

It then turned out Morgan hadn't taken too kindly to that, as Bryan later tweeted:

"I tweeted the ratings of Piers Morgan Uncensored, and I've been Censored."
