I saw a billboard yesterday with something along the lines of "Love him or loathe him, you won't want to miss him" with a massive picture of Piers' face. I mean...no. If you loathe him, which is probably most of the country, you're just not going to watch are you.

I've seen one on a bus stop on the way to work that has a picture of Piers and then to the left is says

Which to me is just asking for a citizen to amend it to

If Morgan quits, TalkTV is dead. I mean you could say it's dead now, but it'll be properly cremated if he leaves. Morgan is single-handedly the entire channel, more so than even Farage is GB News (Dan Arsehole is currently getting similar viewership figures to Farage). At least GB News can sustain their shitty ratings across multiple hours, TalkTV goes from gooseberry fool to 'strawberry float, there's literally nobody here' within the space of an hour.

I guess because GB News is so amateur and such nonsense it gets shared more.

Whenever I can't get away with WFH, I am subjected to "Greatest Hits" radio, and every couple of hours there's ads for GB News. So I imagine they get a bit of traffic through people hearing those ads and thinking "oh, that might be a channel for me". Obviously still ad money going towards this 'venture'.

With £4 million spunked on launch advertising for TalkTV, and Piers Morgan's flagship show drawing its lowest audience yet on Wednesday (44,000) some frantic buck-passing is going on at News UK.

Rebekah Brooks has been reminding people whenever she can that this wasn't her idea. Piers is blaming Tom Newton Dunn for having no viewers (literally zero on May 3rd) for him to inherit. The Ealing studio and the Baby Shard are barely co-operating, and Daisy McAndrew's show is being lined up on the chopping block.

The in-fighting isn't confined to News UK either. Sky News Australia are also furious because they already had their own in-house blowhard (Pete Murray) who they had to bump to make space on the schedule for poster boy Piers. Only Piers has lost them viewers and they've had to pay more for it.
