Edit: I’ve bought this but forgot to login to my CDKeys account so haven’t received my key or email as yet and nothing showing in my order history. I’ve emailed support asking for help. I know it’s my fault but how can I be allowed to complete an order without being asked to sign in?

Also, should I expect to receive the code straight away, or would it be held back until Gears is released anyway?

You still get an invoice email from CDkeys without logging in with a download link that takes you to your code. Plenty of times when I've not signed in but bought using my Paypal account.

Online has been a terrible experience so far in 5. Going from a silky smooth Gears 4 to this hasn't been nice at all.

Played social Arcade last night, it was such a blast. Really enjoyed it.

Really enjoying the campaign so far, though it took us 40 minutes to get co-op working properly at the weekend there :lol:

Payed the costly sum of £2 for 2 months of PC game pass to give this a whirl. Haven't played a Gears game since 2.

I’ve just seen a tweet from someone who has spent £250 in Gears Pop. What the strawberry float is wrong with some people?

Due to a glitch I have to do a rather long fight off in Act 2 all over again and I'm not looking forward to it as, playing in Solo even on normal it's rather difficult.

Online is straight up gooseberry fool. Laggy bullshit. No matter of I'm on PC or Xbox every match my ping is never ever below 100 and you really do only stand a chance with a low ping, getting matched up against yanks, total bullshit. Gears 4 online was buttery smooth compared to 5 so far and my ping was always between 15 - 30.

My ping was 20 last night. :shifty:

Having spent some time with it I can confirm it's a terrible game and an utter cash in.

Had no issues with pings online myself. Just started Act III, can't understand any of the criticism the campaign has got for being a standard gears affair.

You can just quit to the main menu and start the campaign you know..

My copy arrived yesterday but after the install and download it was too late, looking forward to having a go tonight

Just got up to the end of the first section (where it transitions to the snow section) and so far it's been very, very familiar. Like I say the last time I played Gears was the second game and so far almost nothing has changed. Even the animations are exactly the same. Have a feeling things might start switching up from heron out though.

Saying all that the PC port is indeed strawberry floating excellent. Running it at 1440p Ultra settings and getting a consistent 60fps on my 1070 which is remarkable.

Make sure you download the high texture pack from within the video settings in game if your playing via Game Pass or download from Steam if bought from there.
