Genuinely can't understand how you wouldn't have that opinion. Every time you play a game you can tell if you're going to win, just look how levelled up your opponents troops are, if the numbers are higher than yours, you're strawberry floated. There's not enough variety of troops to make much of a tactical difference.

I'm continuing to play it because achievements, but man this game is horrid.

Set up a crew on Gears Pop. It's called "GRcade".

I'm currently on the TrueAchievements one so I'll switch. Horde is certainly more enjoyable than Versus.

If ive got game pass ultimate (or what ever its called) for the next two years, do i have to buy this game or is it effectively free for two years? I dont really know how this works. Im getting old.

It's free to download with GamePass. It's what I'm doing as I also have a few years of GamePass sub.

You've effectively got the entire Microsoft output for free for that time.

With Game Pass Ultimate you also get the Ultimate version of Gears 5 which includes early release on the 6th Sep, Halo Reach Character Pack & 30 days of Boost for Gears 5 as well as the Standard Edition stuff of Terminator Dark Fate Character Pack/Vector Lancer Weapon Skin/Boost: 7 Day bonus.

Yeah I've hit a road block now coming up against those who've paid monies and can just swamp you with overpowered gooseberry fool. That's me now done with it :dread:

It's free on Android and iOS. 1000G of achievements, though obviously being a Gears game there are some ludicrously grindy ones. Expect a fairly easy 200-300G.
