Announced for PC at the PC Gaming show. 4K with an unlimited refresh rate and DX12 support.

Are people getting their codes through email or xbox message? I should qualify, meeting all the requirements but not checked yet.

Glowy check the codes, you prob have 3 codes the same to download it and one to activate it, that's what I had.

Played this for a bit lastnight and was destroyed!

I'm not in a rush to replay Gears but it's good to know that the option will be there on PC pretty much forever.

My redeem code wasn't working last night but thankfully it worked just now. Quite excited to play some multiplayer after such a long time. Absolutely loved this back on 360.

I cant seem to roll about as easy as I could back in the day, is it really double tap B? Either way I'm getting killed over and over.

I haven't played Gears in years but I thought it was double tap A?

Starting to get back into this after getting totally destroyed in the first 4 games. Still so bad at the game, especially when you compare yourself to the hardcore players in the other team. Still love it though :wub:

Game looks lovely running at a higher resolution.

If I can get this for £15 or cheaper without having to use some nuGFWL bullshit then I may be tempted to get it. From the interview at PCGS it seems guaranteed that Gears 4 is coming to PC at some point. The look on his face and the way he said no comment was basically a confirmation.

Needs cross-play so I can blast Glowys face off with a shotgun. It's been a long time.

They mumbled something about 4K support but couldn't really give any reasons why anyone would want to own this over the original.

I had a look at the comparison images over at DF and it doesn't really look that much better than the original. With the 360 BC all I can see is the 60fps being an improvement, but on PC it looks utterly pointless.

Yeah, and i own the OG PC version, but for starters its a GFWL title, it looks old, it quite literally takes about 40 minutes to install it (and i dont even have a dvd drive in my pc anymore because physical media is for plebs), its multiplayer is both dead and solely inhabited by hackers, and itll be nice to have a good looking updated version of the best gears game for PC. It also might gauge interest for a release of 2 & 3 for PC which would be great

I own the original GFWL disc somewhere too. Can't play it though. After the lengthy install it works but if you were to exit the game and start it back up its stops working (don't even think the Windows 7 patch solved that for me)

What was bad about 2? I remember the online being pretty broken at launch and I don't remember if that ever got properly fixed as I never played it. Single player was excellent.

I played the campaign in co-op and was bored off my tits, It had too many set peices!
