Well, there's an Off Topic general chat thread, and God knows sometimes you just want to point something out without making a whole thread. So go ahead, ask a question or make a statement. Use me for your general needs!

How bad has Penny Arcade been recently?

Is Battlefield; Bad Company worth buying at silly Morrisons prices?

I've just discovered Cod4 onlines, and it's brilliant!

Asda have finally dispatched my copy of Final Fantasy IV. I hope they don't dick around with Dragon Quest IV.

They may be cheap, but they're slow.

Without a doubt, in fact its worth getting at full price.

In the last 3 months there hasn't been a better game released.

To be honest I probably would have played DQ first anyway.

I'm more in the mood for whimsy in my portable RPG than angst.

Yeah but your taste in games is worse than Hugo's.

Viva Pinata is lovely. It's a game I don't remember playing that much, but I do remember having a quick go a few times. A few quick goes where I'd just want to decorate the garden a bit so I'd earn a little cash selling the heads off a poison ivy plant and then realise there's a new pinata on the outskirts and then try and entice him in and then oh really is it 5 in the morning?

Just like games should be!

This.

The multiplayer is fantastic and I prefered the single player to COD4's.

Great idea for a thread, btw. Well done, Skarjo.

Anyway, I've just been playing Mercs 2 which is a mess, but still brilliant fun.

How's the Co-Op? It's another cheap-ass Morrisons buy, and any game with and advert featuring 'Oh no you didn't' as a catchy ditty must be supported.

I played the original on PS2 loads and was a fan but this looks so broken from the videos I've seen. Is it as much fun as the original? If so I may have to try and pick it up.

Is anyone on here going to play Warhammer Online? For some reason I decided ages ago that it would be the MMO I'd try out but now it is nearly out I am not so sure.

I've just spent the past few hours in co-op with Tiarny... it's stupid, glitchy (apparently my C4 was repeatedly sticking to my face), but also ridiculously over the top fun. Standing on a tiny inflatable boat, chucking C4 at a HUGE bridge's struts while Tiarny stood on it desperately trying to evac in a helicopter before I detonated the final charge, that was awesome. As was leveling a city block because we could.

I note the fact that you've chosen to pay homage to the classic 'Chat' style thread, rather than the more unsavoury alternative.
