The PS4 makes me think the original Xbox 360 is starting to hatch, which I think causes a slight primal response in me.

Are they really the finalized designs?

They're utter polar opposites but both are equally horrible.

Oh, dear.

Worms has now become something we didn't need it to. And it's excluding half of the platforms available to do it.

It might prove an interesting idea, and as a side game I'd welcome it. But the fact they're stating it as a new era... Please don't abandon the turn-based strategy completely. It's one of the things that makes the series unique.

I dunno, that actually looks quite fun. If it sticks to the 2d plane, then it could be easy to get in to too. I can imagine that being really good fun in local multiplayer.

Oh, I'll certainly be keeping an eye out for more of it (and maybe even try to get into that beta), but I feel they shouldn't be calling it a new era if it's just one game. Then again, could just be hype words, and everyone's reading into it too literally.

This doesn't look like worms to me

Make a thread for it so we can moan some more?

It apparently has destruction elements. I'm not sure what they mean by this, but it certainly doesn't look like the proper terrain deformation of classic worms

Topic will be up in a bit. Just been looking around the Worms Twitter for a bit more info on the game before doing so.

Nacon Connect - coming up in around three and a half hours - will be revealing a few things. Searching it on Google brings up the video timestamp (it's set to premiere at 18:00, so not truly live) which means we've got 38 and a half minutes of this event in which a new Test Drive Unlimited, a (possible) second racing game gets announced, and a few other things, including more of that Vampire: The Bloodlines - Masquerade that was shown off at the May Xbox event. Who else is taking a look?

Beehive Bedlam is back on Sky:

Used to play this in the 2000s along with Tomb Raider. Basic fare but it passed 15 minutes waiting for whatever TV programme was about to start.

the more these consoles just turn into PCs (i mean the Xbox looks like a mini-atx case) the less reason there is to buy them over an actual pc imo.

I may be one of the few who like both designs.
I wanted something different from the boring flat boxes that consoles have become and we certainly got that.

I'm buying both at launch and I think they'll look pretty swnky side by side.

Releasing game on PC makes too much sense not to do. strawberry float, they should release them on other consoles even! Uncharted; God of War; Jak and Daxter; Ratchet and Clank; Sly Cooper; Infamous; Killzone collection on Switch, XB, etc... why not? It's not like they're making money for Sony by staying exclusive. Keep first-party games on the home consoles for the first few years, maybe a little longer if they're marquee games like TLoU, Halo, Mario, etc. But all the other games not that level? Release them elsewhere, make a bit of extra cash and create new fans who may end up buying your console to get at the latest versions of said games.

What the strawberry float is Beehive Bedlam? Never had Sky so want to know if I'm missing out on something decent or if this is going to be like when all the kids with fancy Nokia phones were banging on about Snake and it turned out to just be a crap version of Q-basic Nibbles

Yeah, no. It's just bee-themed Puzzle Bobble.

I started playing Disco Elysium as it was £25 in the Steam sale and I was super interested in it after hearing Giant Bomb's impression of it last year.

I am thoroughly enjoying it thus far. Very early days, (as in I'm on about 3pm of the first day) but I love the aesthetic and presentation.

Don't really know anything about it so looking forward to how this (and my character!) develops.
