It's nice to see the Master System get some love, it's a great little system

That tribal SP would have been something I wanted, thank god I went for the standard silver version, as today I can just add whatever decals I want using my own shop without the console itself living in perpetual shame.

The moral of the story is, don't give your games consoles tattoos, they're for life remember.

I've been on a bit of a GBA kick myself recently, dug out my old micro and managed to fix the broken faceplate clamp. It was immaculate otherwise.

Celebrated by splurging on a few games
* Super Robot Taisen
* Spyro Eternal Night (definitely a hidden gem)
* Zooo
* Gradius Galaxies
* Soccer Kid
* Doom (I've heard this is a cracking port)

It's totally wet my appetite for getting more GBA games. Unfortunately I only really buy them CIB as it's often safer to assume they are not fakes if they come with legit boxes and instructions etc.

Doom is a great Port runs very smooth, I still have it boxed. I've always found doom quite challenging partly due to its mechanics ie you can't really sneak and aggro or snipe or dodge easily so I never got very far. The slightly wider aspect also helps the port versus console 4:3 so it feels a little more modern although obviously the resolution is low.

Whilst digging throgh my cupboard I stumbled upon my old Game Boy Color consoles. Looked at the first one and the battery case catch snapped . Popped onto eBay and have an (unofficial) replacement on the way, though.

Also found my PSone. The console shows very slight discolouring... but the (white) controller is *so* yellow . White plastic is bloomin' awful!

Wow! That is really neat, Lime - thanks for sharing! It seems to have everything... even Daley Thompson's Decathlon . I was more of a C64 gamer than the Speccy, but it'll be cool to look over some of these games.

Not entirely sure if it's okay to talk about this, but I'm curious if anyone owns an EverDrive 64? I don't want to know how, where or anything like that, I'm just curious to hear impressions from anyone here who owns one. I gather it's much superior to emulation?

I was watching someone on Twitch speed running Quest 64, and noticed they were using one. It's one of a handful of games I've always wanted to try, among the likes of Hybrid Heaven, Aidyn Chronicles, Shadowgate 64, etc, and this seems like it might be the best method, less cost prohibitive compared to buying the actual games, seemingly more effective than emulation, and well, Virtual Console...

But then again I don't even have a Nintendo 64, so would need to buy one too. And then attempt to figure out how to hook it up to a modern TV. Perhaps I should just wait for the inevitable N64 Mini and cfw.

I dont have a Everdrive64 but if its anything like either the SNES or Megadrive Everdrives then I have those and they are both fantastic bits of kit that once your in the games youd never know you were not playing real carts.

Hybrid heaven shouldnt be that hard to get should it? I got my complete copy for about £10 a yearish ago

I genuinely didn't realise it was so cheap. I haven't really been checking ebay much since getting burned on a couple of GBA games (bootlegs ). Thanks!

I have purchased a Japanese N64 on the cheap for £15, no pads or wires etc but you can use all of the pal wires power supplies etc, just got to wait about half a week for it to arrive. I have also purchased a copy of Rogue Squadron which is American cart only for £5, as I own 2 or 3 Japanese carts but no American ones and I want an American game so I have it to help me make the alterations needed for it to play both American and Japanese games (you alter the bits around the cart slot inside the machine). I need to find my N64/SNES screwdrivers to go inside it, I hope I can find them and dont need to buy more. I guess I just like giving myself these little projects to get on with.

Any idea how much it would be to get someone to ultrahdmi my N64 for me?

when I have seen people offering to do it its been £45 but you need to buy the kit then pay them £45 and I dont think the ultrahdmi kit is cheap itself

Is that the only picture? Just going by that, I'd say the fine for the AGB-BMXP-EUR is bolded, which might be off

Ask for a pic of the back. Fakes usually find it very difficult to make the plastic 'Nintendo' lettering look authentic.

Heck some don't even say Nintendo, I had one that says something like Nontondo or something on those lines
