I'm sensing a page 300 spectacular. :msgreen:

One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.

I’ll see if I can get my 360 collection photographed at some point as well - there’s a lot of decent stuff in there.

strawberry floating hell jawa, that's quite a collection! How many of them have you actually played? ;) Love the small box Lylat Wars. Did you get the No Mercy cart fixed? I wonder if there's a difference in collectible value?
Wish I'd had the cash and thought to pick up all these N64/GBA games that were going cheap at the time

It's great to see this thread so active. :toot:

If I had my N64 collection to hand (it's in storage) I'd post some pictures. I have a modest collection of mint, boxed games (maybe 20-30).

Lovely pictures over the last few pages though.

It'd be neat to see your 360 set, Cora!

That's a good question, Hypes... and I don't know the answer! I can't recall if the save function works okay; I *think* it does. It's interesting to think about possible differing values - I'd kinda guess that the original (non-saving) cart could be more valuable, as I'd assume that nearly everyone must have had the cart replaced with a working (saveable) version.

How do you post photos here, do you need to use imgur or something similar?

Any idea if the No Mercy save glitch was a hardware or software issue? Would it be replicated using an Everdrive?

Possibly. I know that there are 1.0 and 1.1 versions of the ROM out there, so I would go with the updated version if you can.

Being directly over the radiator is stressing me out

It never gets too hot, the regulator is turned down, they get warm but no more, do you think it could damage them?

I imagine that one can be switched off at the valve.

My collection is shelved about 70cm above a radiator, probably good for keeping the moisture out.

You could try holding a metal thermometer at the bottom of the shelf and check whether that's around 20-30C max.

I think the ABS used for the carts has a pretty high melting point.

Oh, boy, NN69... what a marvelous shot! I've looked at some of those cart stickers in the past and they are so handy for presenting cart collections.

If my eyes and brain are working together correctly, it seems that you have... [mad counting skillz in progress]... 113 carts! Fantastic effort, dude; it really is a lovely set. They're all lined up and ready for action! Do you get to play them much?

I can see two black carts. I think one is Turok 2... but I can't make out what the other one is?

Probably one of the other Turok games (3 or Rage Wars I believe).

Neither of them are black cart games. I think you’re looking at Majora’s Mask.

I'm not sure, CD... I don't think the PAL versiosn were black carts...

...and I believe Majora's Mask was a gold cart.

We need NN69 to confirm this pressing issue!

It's probably fine, just presumably not ideal for convection and actually heating the room and I'd get irrationally worried about it :P Carts are hardier than discs right? My understanding is that humidity and repeated temperature fluctuation is what you want to avoid (hence don't store games in the loft or garage)

I think you're right. I genuinely fear going up into my loft to check on my old computer tapes and disks.
