Burnout 3 is noticeably smoother on Xbox and never released on GC, so with the triggers it's probably the definitive burnout game IMO (unless you prefer pure racing with crashes in which case it's Burnout 2 for GC).

They look like the one I have, in truth it's not that great, it's kind of slow to load and you can't save your games, it just doesn't work right .... If you want to play arcady things and don't need to save it's passable as once loaded the games play well.

I bought an EZFlash Omega. Pick them up from ebay for around £30 and are built to compete with the Everdrives. Personally I think they compete very well and have done the trick for me!

Anyone able to upload doom for the snes? It’s probably the only snes game that’s not on there that I want.

I'm surprised it's not already up there. God knows I've got just about every other version of Doom going. Shocking omission. :?

Missed out on a game on my GC list due to some muppet coming in for the BIN price which obviously trumped my slightly lower best offer. :x

One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.

It's very frustrating when that happens - I've been burned on Twin Snakes several times that way.

Ive got the urge to buy a few original gameboy games just for the nostalgia of it.

How is ebay for fakes? Looking at cartridge only as most seem to be available for the cost of a couple of drinks.

Ebay is awash with gb/c/a fake carts. In fact I've looked for some certain games and in cases only fake ones were available!

There's a gooseberry fool tonne of fakes. Actually the first GB game I ever bought on eBay was a fake. If it's a Pokemon game or any £10-£15+ item it's almost 90% guaranteed to be a cart-only fake.

I don't think I've ever got another one. A decent indie shop (not CEX) will usually sniff them out for you, but you still have to check. It might be worth chucking a list up here because some GB games don't hold up to well or are just.. too synonymous of that time.

Your best bet is the stuff that comes with all box, manual, inserts etc.. but obviously they'll go for big money. It's not unimaginable that a peddler will buy a box-only package and then throw in a fake cart to complete the set as well.

The top 3 things to look out for:

1) Quality of "Nintendo(R)" stamp on the cart - the spelling, moulding and the (R) part are especially important.

2) The arrow that indicates the bottom of the cart on GBA. This should have a crisp, shiny appearance to it and not missing or wrong shape/size etc. All GBA games use the same mould and it has never changed, so refer to a cart you already have.

3) The serial number punched in (not printed) on the printed label AND the serial number dot-matrix printed on the back of the cart. The reason for this is that die-cutting/punching in numbers is a lot more expensive than sticking a label on. Almost every genuine cart ever produced has both of these.

I see a lot of fake gba carts in my local cex I'd say about half the ones they have are fake, personally I've seen more fake gba games than any other cart based system.

I got a complete copy of Global Gladiators for the megadrive for 5pounds yesterday, I haven't been buying as much recently.
