For the OP, it would be good to know what systems everyone has for doing lets plays.

I know you can obviously play stuff on emulators, but a master list of SNES owners, Saturn owners etc. would still be pretty cool to see anyway

I'm assuming consoles after N64 and PS1 aren't for the retro thread?

I guess anything that came out pre-2000? Dreamcast always feels part of that era to me.

Add on Mega CD and Dreamcast as well then. Oh,and Gameboy/Colour/Advance and Game Gear.

I'd normally class anything pre the previous generation as retro.

I sold a lot of my stuff a while ago but ,i still hang on to a few things even though i don't play them, for any really old stuff i'll emulate it. What i do have is

Dreamcast
GBA & GBA SP
PSP

As a general rule of thumb, it's pretty solid.

The big benefit of emulation of course, is very easy video capture and a very sharp image.

Anything I don't have I can emulate. Hell, my N64 is playing up so I generally emulate that anyway.

My Elgato lets me capture pretty much anything, though I do have some issues with older stuff. Prefer to emulate that stuff anyway as the image is much better and everything pre-HD looks like ass when I do capture it.

I'll update the OP over the weekend with the system lists. Would everyone be good for January to be NES 2D platformers then?

I'd be up for that, and try to stream some as well.

I wish I could hook this up to my vita bc it is where I hv street fighter alpha.

They're both pretty bad.

Cool, I have no problem plating stuff if they're bad, or hard. I sucked majorly on Super Star Wars yesterday. Only got to the 2nd level, and after killing many a Jawa I died on top of the vehicle thingy.
