sorry I forgot to respond, thanks for the advice. Yeah I'll steer clear I think. We more just to get hold of all the old games I used to have in their original form.

Donkey Kong land
Wario land
Kirbys dreamland
Killer instinct
Worms
Link's awakening

I've got a few of them on my 3ds so it's a pure play a few times nostalgia thing.

I've gradually been playing through Pokémon Snap. What a game.

Check out my YouTube channel!
One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.

It's wonderful isn't it?!

That's one game I can't believe they've not done anything with on later consoles. It's hardly a game that only has a small cult following!

That does look so lush, Ad. I believe it's the subscriber version... the standard version is due to hit the shelves on Thursday.

You can have my CD if you like Jawa. I won't ever listen to it as I have no c64 experience.

Thanks very much Ad - a lovely gesture but I think I'll pick up this issue as I'm keen to read through the Head over Heels, Ocean Software and Robotron articles. Appreciate the kind offer though, man  .

It's such a good magazine. Nostalgia overload most months. There's an offer on at the moment to get a free mini arcade thing with a sub for £30 I think it is. I'll take a photo of the of a later.

Be aware you don't get a freebie if you subscribe from there as I did.

I grabbed Toejam and Earl for the megadrive boxed but no manual today for 10quid seemed like a pretty good price.

I'm tempted to get that at some stage. Kind of fancy the older version over the new one (which I've not played, to be fair).

Green Gecko wrote:There's a gooseberry fool tonne of fakes. Actually the first GB game I ever bought on eBay was a fake. If it's a Pokemon game or any £10-£15+ item it's almost 90% guaranteed to be a cart-only fake.

I don't think I've ever got another one. A decent indie shop (not CEX) will usually sniff them out for you, but you still have to check. It might be worth chucking a list up here because some GB games don't hold up to well or are just.. too synonymous of that time.

Hello Green Gecko is it possible for you to PM me about tech support? If not I can create an account for Twitter or YouTube but this seems the best place since I have an account here already. I'm not allowed to PM you first though due to settings.

It's a great game something I always find I can go back to so I'd recommend people play it anyway they can, I really want to try the new one as well though
