Took a few pics of my Games Room.

It's not finished, but it's almost there.

Amazon mostly. Got the frames separate and just bought the prints.

Got a few more metroid ones as well, but those are my favourite 3.

That looks great  My wife says I should have a games wall in one of our rooms. I'd like to have my handhelds and consoles out at least.

Also please take that left hand shelf down and put it back up level with the rest of them :dread:

Oh, man! Cheeky, dude, this is terrific! I'd love to have space like that to setup a cool gaming room. There's so much to see but several aspects immediately caught my eye:

> The Metroid shrine! I guess we all know about your love of the series by now but it's great to see exactly where you pray to Samus.

> Those Japanese SNES game boxes look lovely; such cool artwork. And I spy the complete, mint Papes 64 and Burning Rangers Saturn!

> Bonus claps awarded for having the ZX Spectrum and games on show :-) . I see a few big-box PC titles lined up. A salute is in progress for having a Wii U setup 8-) .

> I love how tiny the USA SNES Mini looks when sat next to the towering Mega Drive and Mega CD combo!

Your ace pictures have raised a couple of questions in my mind, too:

> In the first photo, just behind and to the left of your clear GBA, is that a stack of Famicom carts?

> I can see that you have a nice collection of OG Xbox games... but the console is not currently in your setup?

> Is that bottle of alcoholic drink placed on your desk in case of emergencies when trying out the Mario Maker levels? ;-) .

Really nice setup, CD. It looks both spacious and cosy; a cool place to kick back whilst looking at stuff and doing your gaming.

No.

Amazon. Not sure who the exact seller was, but there's loads of stuff on there. Just search for the game you want and add "poster" to the end and it'll show you can get.

Only cost me about £8 each if I remember correctly.

Yeah that's my Famicom games. The thing in front of them is actually my Famicom Disk System copy of Super Mario Bros. I'll do a NES/Famicom collection pic at some point over the weekend.

The OG Xbox and PS3 are both set up in the room as well. It's in the big TV unit in the bottom right. There's just stuff in front of the unit right now.

And yes it's a bottle of Red wine with a glass or two left in it. Zelda randomisers drive me to drink.

It's not actually a US SNES Mini next to the Mega Drive, but rather a Raspberry Pi. Got it set up so that it boots directly into an Amiga Emulator, making it essentially an Amiga.

There are a few things I'm wanting to do though. Where my HOTAS and big box PC games are at the moment I'm wanting to get a bartop arcade system and a few magazine boxes for the pile I've got sitting on the floor.

Ah! Cool. I'd noticed the games so it's great that you also have the consoles setup and ready for action.

I used to have more big boxes (I had Opposing Force as well) but I'm not sure what happened to them all. Must have been binned (Or in a cupboard at my mums).

It really is. Simple but iconic.

I do like the Famicom box art as well though.

I was quite lucky in that we just moved into our house six months ago so I had an excuse to buy new furniture and stuff.

Fjallbo range at Ikea, bought over the past few months. The high shelves were only put up a couple of weeks ago.

I only have my office chair for the PC in the room as I wanted to keep as much of the floor space clear for my PC and PS5 VR set ups.

The desk I have the PC on was actually made by my dad. We got a new bed so I gave him all the wooden slats from the old one and asked him to make it for me.

So yeah I'm pretty happy with it. I don't usually have the main light on, so it's a bit cosier with that off.

Love it.

Years back I had to spend a couple of days in hospital for an overnight sleep study (oxygen levels and other stuff) and was so appalled by the state the patient use PC's desktop (someone had created several hundred desktop shortcuts for various things) that I spent a couple of hours clearing up the desktop and generally sorting out virus and maintenance issues.

Ah yea, I'm waiting for a few more before I run a sheet of edge labels, nothing too exciting, 3 sports games, mk trilogy, holy magic century, micro machines and mischief makers.
