But... it is seemingly only compatible with NTSC (Japanese and American) carts. Still sounds like a great product but personally I'd want it to be compatible with PAL carts, too.

Some concerning news has turned up courtesy of the YouTuber MetalJesusRocks; it seems that this product does not put out a particularly good picture over HDMI; certainly not comparable to the (expensive and hard to install) UltraHDMI kit.

Pretty glad I didn't have the money to join this Kickstarter project!

Grabbed this for 12quid including postage very happy with it as its always great to get a game with all the little bits and pieces registration cards and such.

On the bad side I was supposed to be getting a Japanese copy of Bonanza Bros but it got lost in the post, I was refunded but it does sting not to get it and I do feel sorry for the seller that he instantly refunded it, but I have had a fair few other things of the person and would buy from them again so I suppose its kind of worth it to them to keep a buyer happy.

That thing is hideous anyway! Whatever happened to the Hyperkin N64 that was revealed a couple of years ago at E3?!

Aye that's vile.

Hoping to get a new 'Cube collection pic sorted out in the next day or two, it's starting to look really strong now. Only need Killer 7 from the Capcom Five(err, four and some VJ sequels) and a few miscellaneous Nintendo published titles(Mario Party 4, 5, 7, Mario Strikers, maybe Fire Emblem, Chibi Robo, Wave Race, one or two others).

Absolutely love Chibi Robo, imagining it goes for a fair whack nowdays. Disappointingly I only ever got the PS2 version of Killer 7

The cubes one of my fave machines, but you seldom see games for it on the cheap so I have far more PS2 games cause you see them everywhere.

When I got mine it was like 40quid but the back of the case is in german, that was back when the cube was less popular.

Oof does it? That's another GC title I had the foresight to pick up around 2005 and which will be a cornerstone of my retirement fund. I only wish I'd bought Odama when I saw it, even if it would have been something I'd have played about once for the gimmick value and then never again.

DID YOU KNOW?

We're at a point now where more time has passed between the launch of the Xbox 360 and today, than the launch of the Super Famicom and the Xbox 360.

Super Famicom - November 21st 1990
Xbox 360 - November 22nd 2005
Today - November 24th 2020 (in case youd lost track :P )

Feeling old? :dread:

That's a lovely wee song! I recognised many - but not all! - of the games.

I already feel old. But thanks for that. :?

Unrelated but I can feel myself talking myself into getting a MODE for my Saturn in the new year. Too many issues with burnt Saturn games not reading properly and frankly it's only a matter of time until the drive/laser bites the dust anyway.

Hopefully get some cash at Christmas I can put towards it.

It's fine by me, I wasn't born when the SNES came out :toot:

Imagine being asked when the 360 came out how you think games would be in another 15 years, knowing 15 years previous they looked like SNES games. I think you'd be pretty disappointed tbh

Aye, strawberry float off Preezy what are you playing at? :slol:

Devlin, is this the issue you were having with Resi where it would just randomly freeze at different times?
