http://www.dailyscript.com/scripts/resi ... omero.html

Probably old, but I'd never seen it before. Seems OK, much better than the pile o' shite that ultimately got shat out.

Also, didn't really know where to put this, so I thought a new topic would be OK.

I read this about 5 or 6 years ago while bored at work; it's much, much better than the Paul W S Anderson script. If you ever want to read exactly what a script should not be, read the original draft of that, also available on Daily Scripts. It's abysmal.

I heard the reason Romero's script was dropped was because it was too similar to the game. Stupid reason is stupid.

yep i read about this ages ago, im a big romero fan and love his zombie films, what a dumb studio. They turn down the creator of zombie flicks and a decent script for resident evil , one of the big zombie games that are basically inspired by his films. :fp:

If I remember correctly, one of the reasons they dropped Romero was because his script was too adult and gory. Capcom wanted the film to be more mainstream and get a lower rating hence they went with Anderson's vision.

That script was awesome, the ending especially, it has like the ENTIRE cast of Capcoms game in it. This would have been the greatest zombie film ever. FFS Anderson you prick.

Apologies for not being a MEGA SPOD like you.

I didnt actually know that but I know how easily you get wound up when it comes to stuff like this, we all know Romero isnt great at 'story' stuff.

Im glad you finally admit my knowledge of RE is far superior to yours too. ;)

I never said it wasn't did I? I just found it funny that you'd gooseberry fool yourself whenever they decide to take the series in a new direction.
