Given it's one of the big mega-budget Sony exclusives, I'd be surprised if they didn't have a full suite of accessibility options with various adjustments to its systems. Gotta appeal to as broad a market as possible.

Does make me laugh how they are using the wind to guide you to try and make it more immersive, but every other part of the UI is really intrusive.

Like, watch some gameplay of Jin riding a round and count how much gooseberry fool pops up on the screen.

Pick up something? Big ugly icon, go past an enemy? Big ugly icon, go to a new area? Big ugly title right in the middle of the screen, reach you tracked location? Plain text right in the centre of the screen. Not to mention the objectives been stuck in the top left of the screen the entire time.

Whoever was the UI designer in this game clearly did not give a gooseberry fool.

Maybe it's like the new Tomb Raider's where you can turn various things and on off depending on how difficult and obvious you want it to be.

Can't believe you left out the tennis balls.

I haven't been following the game too closely but I watched a few snippets of the latest video and thought exactly the same. The screen seems far too cluttered and looks like it takes away from the vibe and atmosphere that they're going for.

The "You have reached your tracked location" text was a particularly egregious example, I'm not sure why such a notification is needed, but even if it is necessary there are so many better ways to communicate that to the player.

Maybe, but having more notifiers in the actual game world would negate the need for that and still provide the information.

I know I'm not a programmer so I don't know how much more difficult it would be, but like, I still remember that splinter cell game where text was displayed in the environment, it looked so much better than it popping up on screen, why do more games not do that?

Dead Space had a bar on your characters back to show your stasis meter, now granted it's scinfi so they have a bit more leeway with that, but like, they could have done something cool like use his Cape or armour as a kind of meter instead of having those stupod balls at the bottom of the screen

Bit of an exaggeration >,> Considering the hud only appears when it needs to I don't think it's as bad as other games. If they care enough to put in a Kurusawa mode, I'm sure there are options to tone down UI too.

I really don't fancy this game whatsoever. Not my cup of tea at all.

Rapidly-greying is Mediocre to Average at games :fp:

Just hope my Pro survives this TLOU2 playthrough so I can play this.

GoW is what made me get a Pro earlier than intended. Funnily enough, GoT was gonna be the game I would upgrade to a Pro for lol. I expected the game to release before TLOU2 too.

The best price I've found for this is £44.99 from Currys. Is there anything better than that?

The last triple-A PS4-exclusive title from Sony’s first-party developers is about to arrive in over a week, and Sucker Punch is doing its best to deliver it as polished as possible. According to the latest report from reviewers who are playing the game, Ghost of Tsushima has recently received another update which increases its day-one patch file size to nearly 8 GB.

Decided to go digital since it's less hassle and also might as well send off my Pro in fashion since it's prob the last big game I play on it. 8GB ain't no joke tho. Usually this stuff is just polish and last minute tweaks.
