I'll still be trying out Online on my pro but yeah, saving NG+ for PS5. I played the game in graphics mode too with 30fps so it's gonna be glorious to see and feel that boost.

Tried the first co-op mission last night and it’s excellent.

I take it co-op is online only?

Doing co-op horde mode with chums and my Hunter wrecks things. Explosive arrow, status damage and any other ghost weapons/charms that create/boost fire damage.

I've got twice as many kills as the other. It's stupidly broken OP.

I have. It’s not too bad.

I’m not sure how I feel about this game. Nearly finished Act 2 and it feels very hack slash repeat.

I’ve seen similar comments about Red Dead 2 which I didn’t agree with and loved the game. But I feel it’s what I’m feeling about this

I’m loving the area, culture and world that’s been created, have the Japanese audio on I think the graphics are fantastic. It’s quite satisfying cutting down a lot of bad guys at once.

But then the AI are times are ridiculously stupid and just stand waiting for me. I also found myself really frustrated earlier in a field with grass taller than me and I couldn’t ride through it - it was like a wall..

I just don’t know if I’m enjoying it; I think if I hadn’t spent £40 on it I probably wouldn’t carry on.

The cut scenes and story seem great, but it’s not screaming game of the year to me. I really want to like it. But at the moment feels it’s ride miles to A to go back to B and fight the fort that’s exactly like the last fort again and again.

When you boil it down yeah it can seem quite simple in structure. If you can't find that loop that hooks you then I can see the game not being as fun. I'd say invest in more abilities and try some of the sidequests to mix things up.

You'll get used to it, the combat is amazing once you do.

I am playing with the original dialect. The only issue is trying to read while playing the game.

Im not sure if im in a mission too hard at my level but the combat is overwhelming. You block and dodge and when you attack someone else in the group kets you. I die with two hits.
Not to mention trees and stuff block your vision so you cant see when they attack

I went ahead of myself before I had stealth kills and more health so yeah that was my bad

Just zoomed out of the map to realise its three times bigger than I thought

Getting used to the combat now, still unsure about having a lock because you lose track of your enemies and having to deal with the camera while fighting is a burden

fastest camera speed, dont get 100% surrounded helps
