Ghost of Tsushima - Fastest selling new PS4 IP - Director's Cut is now out

Hope your both right (kind of). For some reason i pictured this game being heavily stealth orientated. If it does it like HZD or UC4 (which i both loved) then i will be happy.
Oh, and i forgot, there was one game i did enjoy the stealth in - Plague Tale: Innocence. But that was really forgiving and the stealth was essentially mini-puzzles with multiple possible answers.

That samurai movie mode (already forgotten what they called it :fp:

) is a really cool idea. It just needs more of a scratch filter and for the game to play with (optional) black borders.

it's kind of amazing that there hasn't been something like it before. Combat looks great and really different from the usual fair.

Some bits reminded me of Breath of the Wild a bit, game looks incredible though, to think they are getting these types of visuals on these systems at this late stage.

I do think it's going to make my Pro hover 10mm of the ground though :dread:

Looks nice, hope you can disable all the icons, stealth indicators, object glint/highlighting etc. Feels like the kind of game where that is just going to gooseberry fool all over the immersion

I’m thinking this would get a decent PS5 boost so I would be tempted to wait and play it on that.

Especially for the Samurai Cinema mode. So I reckon SP will do the right thing and offer extensive UI options.

Day 1, looks lovely.

Too early to say much about the combat but I like the more reserved but fierce nature. Yes, it's kinda like AC but it's a formula that works so why not. Standoffs look promising and hope it introduces different kind scenarios where we take on a variety of enemy types. Seeing hints of stances makes my Nioh heart flutter too.

I'm still undecided on it.

It looks really nice and I love the fighting styles, samurai cinema and aesthetic of the whole thing.

But strip away the Samurai skin and it's yet another open world action adventure game and I feel like I've played enough of them to last me for a good while.
I've bounced off so many similar games already this gen that I'm not sure I'm going to bother here. I can tell just by looking at it that I'll get a few hours in then walk away from it.

We'll see how it reviews and what the word of mouth is though. No doubt I'll end up getting it anyway. :lol:

I feel like it's doing enough to set itself apart from most other games tho. I like the emphasis of environmental details rather than being flooded with hud and menu's telling you where to go. Similar to BotW which I like.
