I'm surprised no mention was made of Jin's father / the wind at his back when he and Shimura faced off. Would have made for good circular story structure. I mean, neither of them even mention how Jin is more like his father than his uncle. Odd things to leave out.

See yas. I didn't want them going off into the sunset holding hands, but ffs give us something which points to their growing feelings for one another.
This is yet another game which would have benefited from climbing, especially during the Shinto shrines gameplay, having some sort of stamina limit. It would have made clambering more interesting. Holding a stick in one direction is not gameplay. Branches and grappling hook points having limited use would also have helped with keeping things interesting.
But massive kudos to Sucker Punch for not relying on lock-on. They made it work, and the swordplay was better for it thanks to the fluid nature of moving between targets.
