The voice acting..

Also keeps cutting out like when people pretend to be having a conversation with bad signal.

I noticed that as well.
Hopefully the story will have no impact on the game once we go in with co-op and the game turns out to be playable.

I hope this is better in co-op.
The driving and the aiming both feel really off.

I was mucking around in the open world when I pinched a helicopter (after liberating it from baddies that popped up from nowhere) and it dawned on me what this game reminded me of.

This game is Mercenaries from the PS2 with a face lift and a different setting.

I just hope there's a medic class.

The shooting is just so bad in this. Now, I'll give it the benefit of the doubt, maybe better guns you get, attachments etc will make thing better but I very much doubt it. I'm a competent shooter and I was have mad troubles with it.

The cover system seems broken too.

Me and two friends tried this last night, we were laughing our faces off at a points, not because of 'oh wow, that was so cool how that happened', more like 'how did this even make it out of alpha, bad'.

So is this Wildlands basically The Division in the countryside?

Nope, it wishes it had The Divisions mechanics.

You just go and shoot things basically. It all seems very basic from that standpoint.

You don't have to shoot every time and I aim to be a ghost until if the situation goes pear shape then I must shoot at them.

Being a ghost, wiped them off and nobody even noticed was a great feeling.

The lip syncing is real bad, could they have the lip syncing in sync with the French language?

I wish you could turn off the macho frat chat.

Taking fire and hearing "gooseberry fool balls!" By the protagonist really takes me out of the game.

Was this game written by the American Pie team?

Remember this is still a beta so hopefully some of the technical problems will be sorted out by launch.

It needs a lot more done than just technical issues.

This is one of those games were it is what you make of it. It could be a good laugh messing about with friends or it could be a lifeless boring slog.
