It's a terrible terrible song, but is a great theme tune.

Oh, yeah - cheesy as anything but so good. Always get a buzz when hearing it start up!

It's a close one. 1 is definitely better but 2 isn't that far behind. I'm one of those that never got the hate for the sequel (see also Predator 2). I didn't particularly hate the reboot if I'm being honest. It wasn't great just very forgettable

I love the Ally McBeal guy. He has so many funny lines.

Vigo is a much better badguy than Gozer. It's not even close.

Now this is my kind of thread! :toot:
Spoiler: me in my suit (again)

One without a shadow of doubt. The build up, forming the 'busters, learning how to use their technology, ghost blowjobs, the final act all leave a superb film *chef kiss*.

I could watch it every day 8-)

Ghostbusters 2 is still a great film. But it didn't have that perfect start-to-finish feel. Felt a bit disjointed.

And we don't talk about the Girl busters.

I've got to Google this! I've completed the game twice and never found this!

Edit - Boo! You little, white liar! The building is in the game but the GB logo isn't.

Still cool though and I think I did see it, thinking back on it.

I'd agree with that. But Ghostbusters 1 is still the better movie.

He was hands down my favourite part of that movie as a kid!

When I go to check on my son when he's asleep each night I obviously do check that he's tucked in and not falling out of the bed or anything, but I am honestly more worried about Peter McNicol in drag flying in through the window, and I don't think I'm the only one.

Ghostbusters 2 was legit terrifying in several places so it gets minus marks. I was, like, 6 or something gimme a break.

The severed head scene did ramp up the horror a surprising amount, compared to the fairly fun spooky ghost vibe of the previous film (and the rest of this film). For a few moments it turns into a sort of Hellraiser tribute.

I'm sad Ghostbusters 3 got delayed due to covid. I have high hopes for that.

Overall I think I prefer the first film but both are pretty decent affairs.

Ghostbusters 1 is the better film overall, but i probably enjoy the sequel that little bit more.

I was always a fan of The Real Ghostbusters too, my favourite episodes included 'Knock Knock', the one where ghosts came from holes in walls (Winston found a hole on a bit of rock in his pocket, shook it, and hundreds of tiny ghosts fell out), and the episode where Chuthlu (sic) was summoned by a creepy cult using the Necronomicon.
