Greenman Gaming have it for £51.99, which still seems ridiculous for a digital PC game.

CDKeys have the basic (non deluxe) PC version for £35.99 just now with deluxe at £49.99

Always worth shopping around for digital keys and CDKeys are legit. Been buying from them for years with no issues.

The delux is so not worth that price and sure as gooseberry fool is not worth the BS £65 price. I picked up the standard version on cdkeys for £30 (load of coins saved up).

And now watch as the PC version turns out to be like a total stutter fest or something.

Yep, all the reviews I have read have been very negative. Even those that gave it higher scores seemed almost apologetic to do so, and used terms such as "endearing".

The game looks to have reviewed pretty decently? It has a score of 75 on Metacritic after 80-odd reviews.

But... yeah, personally I'd like to try it as I like the idea but no way am I splashing out for it at launch; it's a game that I'll look out for in a sale later in the year.

I’ll check it out next year on Xbox but a mediocre end to what is probably the last Bethesda game to ever launch on a PlayStation.

I feel for any developer launching a game up against Elden Ring.

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:

Despite the middling reviews I do still quite fancy this.

But it's defintely one to get once I've got my Steam Deck I think.

Should be able to get it a bit cheaper in a few months as well.

Got my copy today amd although im still only a couple of hours in the combat system doesn't seem to be very deep outside of hold down R2 to charge your attack looks pretty and it actually uses the dualsense controller for haptic feedback and KK dialogue

I must say I do like the style and setting of the game, i'm just not sure there is enough there to keep me engaged.

3.5 hours in. Unlocked all 3 powers and levelled up a good few times thanks to side quests and a bit of grinding.

Upgrading speed of charge to max and also upgrading fire range is important too. Both make gameplay a lot more enjoyable.

I really love this so far. Love the setting and enemy design.

I really enjoyed it. Did all the side quests and got really powerful. It's not for everyone and if it had been a £30 release I think it would have gotten more attention. Atmosphere and world was 10/10. It's a repetitive game but a fun one...

I've just noticed that it's on sale at £29.99 in the eShop and I'm really tempted. The gameworld looks so cool and, although I usually run away from scary games, this one looks to be atmospheric rather than jumpy or gory so I think I'd be okay.

It's not scary. It's less scary than bioshock. It's horror theme is more about the ghosts and creatures you'll meet and not about jump scares or cheap shocks.

I keep returning to the game to find more bits and pieces, nothing big left to do but I enjoy the game and the world and it just feels good to play.

Thanks for the info, Godzilla. I haven't pushed the buy button yet but I'd really like to; it seems to be so stylish.

Ended up just getting the PS5 version instead of waiting for my Steamdeck.

Not very far into it at all, but it seems ok so far. Love the look of the city.

Had to switch it to the HFR (High Framerate) visual setting though as the 30fps (Quality) and 60fps (Performance) presets had some of the most disgusting input lag I've ever had the misfortune to experience. How the hell did that get past QA?
Main downside is that there is some really obnoxious screen tearing when you turn, but at least it's playable.

PC version of this can now be had for about £15 on the Epic Game store with their sale and coupon. Worth a punt at that price?

With a year almost expired since Ghostwire: Tokyo's launch on PC and PS5 as a timed console exclusive, Bethesda has announced the game is making the leap to Xbox Series X/S on 12th April - complete with new content for all platforms.

The game is flawed in lots of ways but I think it will lose one of it's more satisfying elements on other platforms without the Dual Sense controller's features. It really did make good use of it.

I played a few hours of this last week and it seemed alright, nothing brilliant. The fact that a horror game set on the streets of Shibuya didn't immediately grab me is not a great sign. I also really really hate games where the health system is food based but only certain foods. Like, strolling through a fully stocked 7/11 and can't use anything on the shelves but the random bag on top of the Deliveroo driver's seat parked outside? Oh bon appetit mon amour. I get that they couldn't just have infinite health from every Conbini but come up with something better to explain it rather than 'you can only heal from stolen food left in the rain'.
