The team chosen by Dan to be relegated is....

....Joerventus. :(

The first of the Giroud backers to fall. Congrats on doing well, unlucky that ya fell short this week.

Also, I missed that Dan had Sterling as well, so that has now been added onto his tally. He now has an incredible 10 goal lead, meaning that the only way to eliminate him is to start denying him immunity.

PAPER MARIO LOSES PATIENCE WITH SUPER MARIO

Image

With the final week looming and league winners being decided in less than two weeks, the time for carrying passengers is well and truly over. At this point, every team has had access to at least one asset stripping, and thus the quality in the squads has risen to an all time high. Today, after being given a number of repreives, Mario Balotelli was ousted by PM Monaco to be replaced with English wonderkund Harry Kane.

However not all transfers are for non scoring strikers, and today Wolverhampton Wolverers waved a sad goodbye to Diafra Sakho after a long term injury meant he was unlikely to play again this GoalGetters season. Sakho was the teams first pick, and will be replaced by Raheem Sterling. Sakho is the highest scoring player to be subbed out so far.

Elsewhere, Poser's bid to avouid relegation relies on immunity, and he is hoping that Graziano Pelle is the man to get him out of trouble. He ditches fellow Saint Schneiderlin to make room, but then he'd probably bitch and moan and about a top four move in the end anyway. 7 Weeks of an amazing journey DESTROYED in 1 Hour!!

In Heart League, Dan leads the league by a substantial lead, and has improved his team with the addition of Mesut Ozil. He replaces Yaya Toure who having started GoalGetters as a popular choice and a premium pick has ended it with little to shout about and no birthday cakes at all.

Sawyerpip was saved by Dan, and he can now attempt to make him regret that decision with the asset stripping of Giroud. He will hope he can carry on his incredible goal scoring form. Chelsea misfit Cuardado has made way after being signed with huge fanfare but hardly having played at all.

Only seven games this week. I only have three players playing, and two of those are in a game against each other. :x

That doesn't matter though... It's not like fantasy football where you lose points for conceding. I was quite comfortable with Aguero and Rooney playing each other last weekend, even though the latter didn't score.

@ DML - surely I'm not *just* relying on immunity, can I not simply outscore everyone and catch up, too? If Rooney scores 10, I'll be both immune, and mathematically safe :slol:

4 players playing this weekend. :fp:

One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.

You're quite right - it's just that I'd be more confident that Hazard and Fellaini will score me points playing against mid-table sides, than in this weekend's fixture.

I'll be hoping Sergio comes up with the goods.

I'm nervous this week. Got a feeling it's gonna be a low goal week and those are scary...

Wow. All of a sudden I regret not eliminating Dan back in Week Three or whenever it was.

Thanks Dan.

Sorry Joer. It's nothing personal - your team was better than Sawyerpip's, so you both 1) had more players I'd want to asset strip and 2) had more chance of doing well next gameweek to get me knocked out.

Do FA Cup goals count or just Premier League?

I'd include them, but Arsenal are effectively playing a supermarket, so I don't think its fair to include them!

Two asset strips gone wrong. Both Ulloa and Schneiderlin ditched.
