Big fan of how they've set up the post game too. It's very satisfying exploring the world and seeing the impact of the conclusion of the story. I've already experienced lots of nice little moments and I'm sure there are more out there to find. More games should take this approach.

I'd recommend you to carry on with the side quests. If I remember it correctly and there one or two good side quests to do.

It has the best post game content of anything I have played. Mario Odyssey not withstanding of course.

I've been working through the extra stuff and really enjoying it.The Viking Funeral (Brok  ) is excellent.

My plan was to 100% each region and then head back to Muspelheim (where I've done the first 9 challenges only).

From the other realms I've now done everything except the King Berserker. Spent an hour on him last night, and the first 20-30 minutes I found very disheartening to say the least  Then I started to click a bit-I think the issue is he has so many attacks you really need to spend a bit of time learning the tells for each one, especially given the number of different ways you need to react. I started making progress then and got to about 25% a few times so I definitely think it's doable. I'm only playing on standard difficult too :shifty: Can't imagine how difficult he is on the hardest!

I want to say something about a specific person, but I don't want to spoil it.

As for the King Berserker. I did a trick to beat him though! :shifty:

Do you mean Tyr? If so, I found him in the prison, occasionally bumped into him in the other realms travelling about on his gap year

As for the King Berserker. Have you thought about to lower the difficulty to beat him then switch it back to the normal difficulty afterwards. :slol:

That's what I did, he was still a git to beat.

Just beat the strawberry floater :datass:

Was fighting him for about 30 minutes tonight and it wasn't quite working and then all of a sudden it all clicked into place. Knew from the start of that battle that this one was going to be it, my head was in the exact groove I needed to be. Still nearly fumbled it at the end mind cos I lost my head a bit and got overexcited

Very satisfying!

I remember that fight being more annoying than satisfying. Been a while since I beat it but I have in my head he's cheesy as strawberry float. I'd love to go back and finish my Harder difficulty playthrough but the challenge intimidates me a bit after so long away. It's a shame because I love the last 6 or so hours of it and the end is strawberry floating ace.

And that's Queen Gna beat :datass:

Spent a good few hours last night where I got into the rhythm of it but was too tired to get it over the line. Booted it up this morning and after 10 minutes of it not quite clicking it all fell into place. Again, a very satisfying fight to win, these final two battles have been the icing on the cake to finish off my time with the game. I've clocked in 100% at 55 hours and loved every minute. They're not perfect but I adore these two games and the story works brilliantly as a duology.

I hope the rumours of something smaller God of War related coming soon from Santa Monica are true.

A solid 9/10 for me.

Yeah, they're both amazing games, very little filler in either.

It's the culmination of the Remnants of Asgard post game side quest

I simply was not good enough to beat her. Tried about 5 times and decided it would cloud my overall opinion of the game if I struggled on any longer.

You could have still done all 10 remnants parts but missed her. The scrolls you get after those fights give you clues to where Queen Gna is and you can go fight her once you've done all 10 of the Asgard remnants.

Right, thanks. Is there a good 'pay off' when you beat her, or does she just die and that's that? Maybe spoiler the answer...
