My computer chair is broken and gives me back ache. What chairs do you guys have? They're such a boring thing to spend money on so I want to be sure I'm getting something half decent.

A Herman Miller Aeron. It’s like a hammock for your arse. Solved the back pain my previous chair was giving me, has a a gravity-defying recline, and because there’s no sponge or support underneath, every fart you do in it is levelled up to the max.

I've had a second hand/refurbished Herman Miller Aeron arrive today. Had been thinking about it for a while since I'm now, almost fully, working from home but they are expensive. Went for it when someone pointed out how relatively normal it is to spend hundreds on a sofa you might sit on for a couple of hours a day, so why would you cheap out on an office chair you use 8+ hours a day?
I got mine from 2ndhnd.com, they got loads of chairs but from what I found online, the Aeron is generally seen as the 'best'.

No way, I got mine yesterday also from the same website
Mine is a bit creaky on one side, needs some WD40 I think. I also got a headrest on amazon for it, which was expensive but worth.
The new Razer Izkur chair is getting rave reviews, many saying how it is a good price, not as 'gamer' if you get the plain black one, and has really good support.

9 times out of ten your backache will be caused by your posture and not your chair. Though you have said your chairs broken so this could be that 1 time.
I wouldn't spend a stupid amount of money on one unless you sleep on a bed of Benjamins.

I'd sooner sit on a couple of milk crates.

irl lol
*touch wood* I don't have any back issues, so it's general comfort that's highest on my chair agenda. And I already have the best chair for that. Well, the best cushions. (Chair on its own is about a 6 1/2 out of 10. But with back and arse cushions it's heaven.)
