Just as this launched I've gained access to MS' Xcloud preview which gives me 53 games to try streaming at no cost and using the controller I already own - and it works! I reckon I'll probably never buy into Stadia in its current configuration.

Got my invite tonight to Xcloud tonight as well. I tried out Forza Horizon 4 and Gears 5, both completely unplayable over 4G. For reference my speed is 46Mbs download, 6Mbs upload, ping 44Ms and that speeds taken from Chrome on a Macbook running through a mobile hotspot.

Tried over wifi and 4G here and it worked fine for both! It's not as good as stream-free gaming of course.

What's your 4G speed?

*Edit* Tried Halo 5 and that was much better. I'm using a Switch Pro controller which is hopefully what is causing the massive input delay.

I should have mentioned that it's the input delay making the games unplayable, everything is running very well. I'll try it with an Xbox controller when I get home tomorrow and see if that is any better.

Also dunno if it's been mentioned yet, but a little while back Google mentioned one of the marketing points for the Stadia would be gender neutral controller colours in an attempt to encourage more female gamers.

So they'll start with hitherto unseen controller colours like black. And white.

Destiny 2 numbers are a bit shocking given that it's f2p.
