Is what impossible? Everyone having a flawless internet connection, or eliminating hacking and cheating?

The hacking and cheating! Maybe because players don’t have access to the cloud computers - although That is a bold claim.

I'm actually finding this all rather concerning.

If this actually takes off, and that's a huge if, google could potentially not only monopolise game publishing but completely eliminate consumer-side digital ownership.

It'll be harder if people don't have access to the game files, as well as killing off any mod prospects, but there'll be some way people find to work hacks in there.

Microsoft have XCloud coming and we should see the next evolution of PS Now with PS5.

Chrome and YouTube integration gives them a big advantage though.

You can bet Microsoft and Sony execs are watching scribbling notes on their A4 pads! :lol:

On one hand this could just be Android+, and hardcore gaming is safe, but that YouTube integration... think all those casuals who never played games before now playing on Android or iOS, now think about casuals with access to full games from their browser.
