Google could have totally upended the games industry if they wanted to but it’s probably a good thing it couldn’t get off the ground.

Good that they are doing full refunds. I’ll never get back that £1 I spent on Assassin’s Creed 2 on OnLive.

I'm gutted, Stadia was my only way of playing PC games. I put over 100 hours into Cyberpunk 2077 on Stadia and it was pretty much flawless the whole time.

How far back do the refunds go? :shifty:

The news I've seen just says "all purchases" will be refunded, so your should be fine

No, but it’s the only one that works on all those if your phone/tablet has an Apple on the back. But that’s also true of GeForce Now and Luna doesn’t work on consoles so I don’t know what your criteria is for PS+ not hanging with your list.

I was just asking a question, I know strawberry float all about Sony’s streaming. Chill.

Gutted. It was a great concept, but overshadowed by Xcloud now.

Hopefully get the refund for buying cyberpunk on it lol

And I was just answering, but then when you responded that they’re “not the same”, the implication is that they don’t count and I’m wrong. It’s odd that you would declare they’re not the same thing before later saying you know strawberry float all about them. How did you know it wasn’t the same then?

PS3 launch guy turned Xbox One launch guy turned Atari guy in their failed revival turned Stadia launch guy.

Big Phil’s got the Midas touch

You will continue to have access to your games library through January 18, 2023 so you can complete final play sessions and move your progress to alternate platforms where possible.
Commerce functionality (the ability to buy games, new subscriptions, add-ons or in-game purchases) on Stadia has now been disabled.

Google will offer a full refund of all Stadia hardware purchases (Stadia Controller, Stadia Founder’s Edition, Stadia Premiere Edition, or Play and Watch with Google TV Package) made in the Google Store and all purchases of games and in-game transactions made in the Stadia Store.

The refund process will take us some time to complete, and we expect to have the majority of refunds completed by the middle of January 2023. Please allow us until this time before contacting our support team regarding the status of your refund(s).

Stadia Pro subscription payments will not be eligible for refund, but if you are an active subscriber, you will continue to have access to your library without charge during the shut-down period.

I asked if it was the same? How do you actually function in real life?! I have a switch so I know a bit about their service, I think you may have some mental issues man, I can’t say anything near derogatory towards Sony and you turn it to console war nonsense every single time.

Hopefully they push an update through to the controllers to make them Bluetooth enabled. Silly to keep them as usb cable only.

I’m sure lessons were learned.

One of the biggest industry mistakes in a long time, but like the last great gaming flop, the N-Gage, the concept itself is clearly ahead of its time and genuinely the future of gaming (whether you or I happen to like it or not).

For someone that just told me to chill apropos of nothing, you’re being awfully un-chill here.

Anyway, farewell Google Stadia. I never knew you. ;_;

So far this year, I have eaten NO mince pies.

It was added in a recent big patch, but you have to enable it from the looks of things rather than it being enabled by default,
