Kinect was way more popular than Stadia ever will be.

Legitimately thought they had given up with Stadia.

I wonder how much longer Google are going to bother trying to keep this thing going? Anyone want to start placing bets on a kill date for Stadia?

People will look back at Stadia in a decade and say ‘that was the future of gaming’. Just not from Google.

It's not like we're talking about some independent kickstarter funded project here so it's confusing why Google won't take it more seriously. When they bring out a new phone there are loads of adverts for example.

If only there were some connection business between Youtube and Stadia that could facilitate this.

Video game streaming and video sharing is a big thing, and they own both properties, you'd think this would be in from day 1.

Unless they simply don't want all that evidence of people falling asleep while playing their thrilling library of content.

YouTube integration was sold as one of the big pieces of the Stadia puzzle when it was announced, that along with a whole bunch of other still missing features is one of the biggest blows to this. The whole package as it was originally described actually had some interesting selling points to it, but what we have so far is devoid of anything to make it worth looking at.

Xclouds Beta had it beaten before it really got off the ground tbh.

OnLive and the like proved it conceptually nearly 10 years ago, the fact that a huge organisation like Google has barely been able to evolve that core concept all this time later is just ridiculous.

I've been playing around with both recently and whilst I actually quite like Stadia I can see how being able to carry over my Xbox collection to xCloud is a winner.

It's a shame because I like how Stadia is playable in a web browser on any computer, specifically my laptop which would never run Destiny 2 in a million years.

I have a 100mbps WiFi connection and regularly peak those speeds in downloads. I've found no lag at all playing Stadia on my phone.

Google announces 16 new Stadia games, including five exclusives

Google has announced 16 new games coming to streaming service Stadia, including five exclusives.

Outcasters is an "Only on Stadia" game from Gears Tactics and Brink developer Splash Damage. It's a colourful competitive online multiplayer top-down shooter in which you can curve your shots. More on that here.

Orcs Must Die! 3 is also an "Only on Stadia" game. Robot Entertainment's sequel sees players fight against huge orc armies, and it's playable in Stadia Pro now or costs $29.99 without Pro.

Google said other developers working on "Only on Stadia" games include Harmonix (Rock Band), Uppercut Games (City of Brass), and Supermassive Games (Until Dawn). It didn't reveal the games these developers are working on, however.

New games coming to Stadia that are not exclusives include Super Bomberman R Online (first on Stadia; autumn 2020); One Hand Clapping (early access; first on Stadia; live now); Dead by Daylight (cross-play all platforms; cross-progression with Nintendo Switch and PC); PUBG Season 8 (30th July); Hitman, Hitman 2 (both 1st Sep 2020) and Hitman 3 (January 2021); Serious Sam 4 (Stadia and PC only at launch; August 2020); Outriders (Christmas 2020); WWE 2K Battlegrounds (18th Sep 2020); PGA Tour 2K21 (21st August 2020); NBA 2k21 (autumn 2020); Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice (autumn 2020); and Hello Neighbor (20th Sep 2020 (playable in Stadia Pro at launch) and Hello Neighbor: Hide & Seek (Christmas 2020; playable in Stadia Pro at launch).
