It’s sending some people apoplectic with rage on Twitter though, with “BoycottHeck” actually trending on Twitter. If you were to boycott every company with Conservative-supporting management or employees around the world your cupboards are going to be just a little bit empty. :slol:

John Prescott also visited the Heck factory recently for a Channel 5 documentary...as did Gregg Wallace.

Donald Trump would make a good British prime minister, say Conservative Party members

The YouGov poll of Conservative party members for Channel 4, found that 54% believed Trump would make a good prime minister of the UK, as opposed to 43% who disagreed.

The poll paints a stark picture of the views of the Tory electorate, on issues of crime, race, religion and sexuality, which is close to that of Trump himself. It found that:

58% of Conservative members would like the return of the death penalty.
56% believe Islam is a threat to the British way of life.
42% believe having people from a wide variety of racial and cultural backgrounds has damaged British society.
46% believe concerns about climate change have been exaggerated.
49% believe schools should not be required to teach children about LGBT relationships.

He has nothing to lose by saying it. Many of the votes have now also been cast.

BTW, the debate between Hunt and Boris is tonight at 8pm on ITV.

They're having a debate after the votes have been cast. What a waste of time.

Another car crash debate. Blue on blue bumming.

Boris Johnson also declining to guarantee that Sir Kim Darroch will stay as ambassador. 'I'm not going to be so presumptuous'

The only hope is that Parliament can put a stop to whatever bullshit he's going to attempt.

I'm going to start stocking up again.

Parliament can stop it. But it will need to involve Tories voting against their own newly elected leader. I think some of them will, but I am not sure there will be enough of them to counteract the Labour rebels that will vote for Johnson's No Deal.

"I think Boris likes to ride on the wave of being an idiot basically"

The average age of a Conservative party member is 57. But who do younger activists favour - Jeremy Hunt or Boris Johnson?

The Victoria Derbyshire programme hears from those who are helping to decide our next prime minister.

Denster not included, what some young Tory members/activists think (yes, they do exist!) of the two remaining candidates: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/video_and_au ... ur-next-pm

It’s probably too much to hope that he’ll beat Lord Bath, but we really need to aim for Johnson beating Canning’s record.

I doubt it'll be that short. We'll probably be stuck with him for years.
