There’s a reasonable chance he’ll be out quickly. Either through overconfidence causing him to call an early election or from No Deal Brexit causing a big rebellion from some Tories leading to a no confidence vote.

I think he'll push for Brexit and then if it all goes badly hunker down to the next election and hope things get better.

I don't really see these resignations as being effective. I mean, Boris would probably fire them all anyway, so really they are just jumping before they're pushed.
