2 lots of quarter finals today including the (what should have been the) final.

1st lot of Quarter Finals are now done and the results were as follows

Super Mario Bros: Theme 15 votes
Tetris: Song A 8 votes

Streets of Rage: Intro 10 votes
Metroid Prime: Phendrana Drifts 11 votes

That means it's Mario vs Samus in the first semi final.

Next set of votes going live asap.

Plus OutRun beat Banjo, and Halo beat Street Fighter, so it's not really a Nintendo walkover.

We should just vote against Mario this round out of protest.

You have a lot of older people on this forum that grew up with Nintendo so this doesn't shock me, especially as games like Mario and Zelda are still present today!

It's a nice piece of music and it really works well in the game, but like strawberry float is it iconic in the way that some of the tracks in this have been!

It's going to be the beneficiary of an anti-Mario voting bloc next round.
