Ridiculous pair up for R32. Got to be Resi because 1) I nominated it, and 2) it's an original composition, unlike the Tetris tune which loses it points.

Posting this again because it's worth it.

Tetris should win but Resi should have made it further up the rankings, basically!

With that in mind I honestly can't see how anyone can vote for anything other than Tetris. It's the only piece of music in this competition that was remixed and released as a single for god sake. :lol:

Voting against it because it's not an original composition and I don't specifically associate the tune with Tetris. Like, if the song hadn't existed for over a century before Tetris came out I could see the argument that it's the unassailable winner, but it has.

I wager no-one would have even heard of that song, or probably even heard of Russia at all, if Tetris hadn't been invented.

Anyhow, what makes it iconic is the way the tune builds in speed perfectly as the game gets faster. It feels like they could have been designed together, even a hundred years apart.
