Fury v Usyk back on for the 18th May.

Both figures allegedly will stump up $10m if they pull out.

Wow that is unfortunate. Theresa May scheduled her snap-election for my wedding day. :x

It's would be pretty damn cool, is what ti would be.

Anybody else watching AJ v FN tomorrow? I'm steadfast in my AJ via UD prediction.

Funny because I am the complete opposite.

I will absolutely accept that I am not a very well versed Boxing fan, I enjoy it, and like watching the big fights, but don't fully appreciate the more finer aspects and strategies/strengths of the boxers. But, I have always been slightly unimpressed with AJ (Reminds me of Kahn, way too much hype).

I thought FN was robbed in his fight against TF. Again, will stress I am no expert but thought TF was very lucky to get the result. I think FN can pull off the upset, I thought he did so well in his last fight and obviously has the weapons available to him.

I am probably very wrong, and you can all laugh at my total ignorance post fight. But if I was a betting man, I would be betting on FN and the upset.

Unreal, Jake Paul's gonna knock out Mike Tyson. That's depressing.

I've put a fair amount of money on AJ by points - I got almost 4/1, which is ludicrous. Most likely outcome imo.

Put the rest of my money on AJ to win outright, 1/3 is a steal.

I would argue the opposite in that I think AJ has generated a massive amount of unwarranted hate, and that he's actually underrated by the general public.

I think AJ beats Fury right now. His Wallin performance was great, and his showing in Usyk 2 was probably the best pure boxing performance of his life. His resume matches up with Fury's, and it could still be argued surpasses it.

Ngannou of course has a chance as it's heavyweight boxing and he punches hard. But I think AJ keeps it clean and jabs/1-2's his way to a nice victory. Maybe cumulative damage stopping Ngannou late with the ref jumping in as FN gets tired, but I fancy the points.

Totally accept your more experienced opinion, you are definitely one of the more learned fight fans here.

Will just say I don't hate AJ at all, as everything I have seen of him outside the ring he seems like a very nice guy (despite that weird moment after his loss a few years back). Don't like Fury though, nver have never will.

I think that's where I am lacking, I don't see/recognise the more minute aspects of the sport. Not sure if I saw the Wallin fight, will have to have a look. I am probably being very unfair. I think my desire to have this all conquering Heavy weight chamption like the good Lewis days makes me unfairly critical of any British fighters who have patchy moments.

Yeah wasn't mensing to suggest you hate AJ, I just see a lot of unwarranted criticism of him. There's defo a lot bigger dickheads in boxing!

He certainly isn't Lennox level but he's undoubtedly been one of the top 3 or 4 heavyweights in the world for about 7 or 8 years now which is no mean feat.

I would say to anyone who has the time tomorrow evening to watch the full main card. Some great fights even in the absence of massive household names.

Gwynne fight is a great domestic dust up - favour Chamberlain late KO or points but should be a fair war.

Madrimov fight is two world level light middleweights. Think he can beat the Russian Kurbanov.

One of the most exciting British fighters is up - Nick Ball honestly fights like Mike Tyson at times. Generally against lower level opposition admittedly but he nails that Peek a boo style. Fighting a really tough, rangy opponent tomorrow. Hard to call - think Vargas will be winning on points but maybe Ball can get a late KO. Be a really impressive win for Ball if he can do it, is a step up for him.

Zhang v Parker should be a banger. Zhang is coming in really heavy; if he can't get a KO before round 7 or 8 I think he's gonna gas a strawberry floater.

Don't think I'll be watching this. Didn't bother when it was Fury,

My tuppence worth is AJ wins by knockout. I think Fury underestimated Ngannou and he's now lost that element of surprise.

If I have late change of heart it'll be because I wouldn't mind seeing Zhang Parker.

i was hoping to catch the fight but i dont think anywhere in town is showing it

i would say tactically aj should take it but fn could easily put him on his arse with a good one, thats all it takes - fn was very unlucky to not get the tf win last time round
