Despite the title these are all knock downs, not knock outs.

UFC 262. With a main event and co main event with this 4, you had guaranteed exciting fights. :datass:

Yeah sadly, I think that's Tony done. Absolute warrior, but that's a 3 loss streak now, right?

Yeah I bet some money on him losing yesterday, easy cash. Best thing the UFC could do is cut him loose at this point, he really needs to retire sadly. The CTE is going to be extreme.

Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua confirmed for Saturday 14th August in Saudi Arabia which was pretty much an open secret.

Haven't been able to confirm what time the fight would be in the UK. Anyone able to confirm?

Disgusting and disappointing in equal measure.

Not sure when it actually started but the Joshua v Ruiz fight in Saudi Arabia was planned to start at 9pm UK time.

Yeah it's definitely both of those things but unfortunately not at all surprising. Like everyone, I was hoping for Wembley or Cardiff but "sportswashing" just pays too much.

I watched "The Dissident" last night so I've fresh reenergised hatred for MBS.

As GD put it, I think even open secret is too weak - this has been known for months that were they to get it over the line, it would be in SA.

So I'm not going to lie, it is wholly strawberry floated up and a disgusting site in which to hold it, but I am glad the fight is happening.

I think it will probably be a pretty boring bout in which Fury wins on points but as a huge boxing fan, I'll be pretty hyped for it near the time.

I don't see TF going for the Kronk gym style which worked so well in Wilder 2. AJ's too skilled a boxer to be approached that way.

While you're all here, Josh Taylor is fighting this Saturday to be the first ever Scottish undisputed World Champion of 4 belts. Will be an absolute cracker - he's probably the UK's best P4P boxer on the planet.

Re: Fury v AJ, I'll watch it but I'm not rewarding them and their shitty, greeed-oriented decision-making with a single penny of my cash.

FFS. Wilder would be better off just agreeing to fight the winner of AJ v Fury.

TF beat Wilder the first time round and utterly schooled him the second. Surely no one desperately wants to see this run back again.

But Wilder's costume in the 2nd fight was so heavy that his legs were wrecked before round 1. :simper:

Fury vs Wilder now booked for 24th July. :fp: The fight everyone has wanted for years replaced by the fight no one wanted to see.

Great win by Taylor. First brit to be undisputed in the four title era I believe.

Gutted Fury v Joshua is off even if we are getting two potential good fights in fury v wilder and Joshua v usyk in its place. I just hope fury and Joshua win their respective fights so we can finally see them face off. I hate the politics involved in boxing with all the different belts.

I also would have thought that it would have been in wilders best interests to offer to sit out his rematch in exchange for a guaranteed shot at the winner of fury and Joshua.
