Joshua wins back his titles then. Pretty boring fight, still don't think any sports events should be held over there, disappointed in AJ being complicit in it all.

Not exactly a definitive win. Felt like Ruiz lost the fight more than AJ won it. Fury & Wilder must be absolutely chomping at the bit for a shot at Joshua after that.

For the average boxing fan, I can see why people are dismissive and unimpressed by that. However it's the best Joshua has fought in his career and that loss has really made him a better fighter, as it showed tonight. Tactically spot on. With your career on a knife edge, to deliver that kind of performance against such a dangerous opponent was very impressive.

He's experienced nearly everything as a boxer now which will only help him in later fights. Be interesting fight between him and Fury but I don't think it will happen. Fury is looking to get out the game after the Wilder fight, though he does have a contract with ESPN (I think) for several fights so who knows. Wilder will be a danger to any heavyweight as he's probably the hardest puncher in boxing history so he only needs that one second to win a fight. AJ would have to be perfect, but there is no doubt he is the better boxer. I could certainly see Joshua catching Wilder on the way in and also with counter punches.

That's what's so great about heavyweights. It just takes one punch.

But overall, very impressed with Joshua tonight. Top performance, very professional. Gotta mention Ruiz who is a strawberry floating tank and could quite easily win the third fight, as he has the power and hand speed to cause anyone problems really.

Heavyweight division is in a pretty good place right now. As long as the big fights get made!

Ruiz was in very poor shape there, I know he was obese for the first fight too but to come in at over 20 stone was blatantly an error. He looked off the pace throughout and didn't stalk AJ nearly well enough.

That said, a very impressive performance from Joshua.

The division isn't full of great fighters but would love to see him vs Wilder or Fury. Think Fury is a better boxer and suspect Wilder would catch him and put him down but would be decided on such tight margins.

Anyone else watching on DAZN - how strawberry floating gooseberry fool was that commentary? Thought it was painfully amateurish throughout.

A thorough and intelligent job done from Joshua. Clearly wasn't getting caught cold again.

BT putting UFC 246 this Saturday behind a Pay Per View. :x

It's Conor McGregor's first fight in 15 months but no other fight on the card appeals to me at all.

Thought Fury would win but didn't expect him to dominate in that fashion. Brutal.

He probably won every single round apart from perhaps the one in which he got docked a point. That is what happens when a clever boxer comes up against a one-dimensional (albeit good) fighter.

I couldn't testify to it but it's like Wilder had never faced an opponent who was the aggressor before. He didn't know what to do and repeatedly ended up on the ropes. He and his team have been used to other fighters backing off, looking to avoid that right hand for years and doesn't seem to have developed a Plan B.

If anyone could link me I'd be eternally grateful, trying hard to search for links without getting the fight spoiled but it's pretty tough going. Been looking forward to this one massively

Thanks very much man, hate trying to search on YT as I always inadvertently see the result.

What a performance from Fury, on that basis he's undoubtedly the best heavyweight in the world. Fancied him to win on points, even with his change to the Kronk gym I thought his talk of being aggressive would just be a put on. Extremely impressive.

That was one of the best heavyweight performances in years. He clinically took him apart. As much as I don't like Fury the man, he is undoubtedly the best heavyweight on the planet right now.

I don't see the point in a rematch personally. This was beyond decisive. I can't see how Wilder could improve enough to beat him.

Thanks for posting this. That was a comprehensive win for Fury. Wilder's legs were completely gone from the second round.

Why did that video mute the commentary in between rounds and play music instead?

Remember that guy who streamed a whole UFC PPV on Twitch but held a controller to make it look like he was playing a game?

I don’t understand how this allows them to avoid a copyright claim.
