Fury did a comprehensive job on him. Thought Wilders corner did well to throw in the towel when they did. It was only a matter of time after the knockdown. Kudos to Fury. Fought pretty much a perfect fight.

Wonder if Joshua will go for a unification fight...

I really hope we get Joshua v fury next and Wilder doesn’t reactivate his rematch clause. Apparently it needs to be activated in the next 30 days.

Deontay Wilder has blamed his elaborate ring-walk costume for his WBC heavyweight title defeat by Tyson Fury.

The American, 34, said his costume was too heavy and as a result he "didn't have the legs" for the fight.

It was under 20 kilos for what, a 5 minute walk? Crazy heavy for a costume but a guy that size should be carrying that in his sleep

I'm a bit disappointed in that this will probably mean a third match up. That also means AJ will probably fight someone else in the meantime, giving him another chance to slip up and derail his bout with Fury.

He's also sacking the cornerman who threw in the towel.

Aye, cos he wasn't hurt at all

I can understand the mentality - surely a requirement to get to that level in boxing - but the cornerman did the right thing. He was getting seriously injured in there. I think Bayliss had a lot to think about in the 6th and 7th at points. Wilder couldn't set his legs properly, there wasn't going to be that one big power punch he longed for.

He's not going to wait about for Fury is he? Why not have another fight whilst he waits?

He dressed like Sauron and was shocked when he lost his power in the ring?

Yeah of course, but Pulev or Usyk could derail him.

Give over with that excuse of your dress wearing you down
Just admit you’ve been fighting two bit pub brawler types until now & you got beat by a real fighter. Twice.

Don’t think anyone wants a third. Would rather have that Fury / Josh matchup

I watched a Wilder knockout reel and yeah, the guys he faced did not look good (and that was before he KO'd them).

I've got tickets for the UFC event in London next Saturday and I'm convinced it's just a matter of time before it gets cancelled.

More worried about Khabib Nurmagomedov vs Tony Ferguson’s fight getting rescheduled for the 5th time. The MMA God's have a sick sense of humour. :dread:

Check her Instagram page. The bruise is now 75% of her face apart from the chin area. Crazy!

Get Khabib and Ferguson together in an empty arena, strawberry float cancelling this one again.

If they really push it hard and people are at home as they can't go out to bars etc then the increased ppv revenue may offset the loss of ticket sales.
