Povetkin, having been down twice and lost every round, just sparked out Whyte with a sweet uppercut.

Hung in the air for 10 seconds

10/10 for athleticism and improvisation.

UFC 254 tonight. Khabib Nurmagomedov vs Justin Gaethje. :datass:

It's in Abu Dhabi (sportswashing) which fortunately means it starts at 7pm here with the main event likely to start around 10pm.

Which means those dicks at BT have made it a PPV event. :x

Obvious prediction is Khabib wins but his father died recently so there's an element of how much this might affect his mental state.

Oh gooseberry fool I didn't realise it was such an early start.

Got some money on Khabib to win by submission. Surely, right?

Looks like Cannonier's been sipping the special sauce which should help him against Whittaker although I still fancy the latter to take it.

Great UFC event!

Khabib won in such a dominant fashion. The pressure he puts on is relentless.

And he's retiring. :( hoped he would do 2 more fights. Ferguson and a Conor rematch.

That was fantastic.

That was relentless from Khabib, felt like another level. How he got into that hold was immense.

Gutted that he's retired, but fair play. Love the little dig at Connor at the end though

So they are using ex champions as judges and not professional judges? What could possibly go wrong there :fp:

Sometimes he comes across as a decent person, but generally it's in the fondness he has for his inner circle of friends and family then he does gooseberry fool like this:

Anyone watching the fights tonight?

Hyped for the Joyce fight, got great odds on him getting a late KO so thought I'd put a couple of quid on.

The Tyson bout will be a shitshow but will check it out anyway.

I'll back RJJ. One of the most watchable, graceful and talented boxers of all time.

The Tyson v RJJ fight is on at a terrible time for the European viewer. I have plans to be fast asleep at the time.

I keep thinking it'll be like Kimbo Slice vs Dada 5000 too. :slol: :fp:

But I'm curious in a "let's watch a freakshow" kind of way just like The Mountain from GoT doing his first boxing fight next year.
