My commentary was some Christina person who was literally the worst boxing commentator I've ever heard.

Was she the one that thought the ref stopped it at the end of round 3 and then immediately realised she gone dun strawberry floated up as the bell was going for the end of the round?

Yep!

She also repeatedly said the wrong fighter's name and overlooked punches.

In one of the rounds she started a minor talking point as the bell rang to begin, then kept talking about it for over 40 seconds while wild action was taking place. strawberry float knows how she got onto such a big fight.

Hard to see who beats the Gypsy King until age catches up with him. With AJ's recent loss, there's not nearly as much hype for that now.

Honestly I'd fancy Usyk to do the job. Fury left openings tonight and with Usyk's movement he'd have a great chance to outpoint him.

The height, weight and reach advantage Fury would have over Usyk would be huge though, seems like almost an insurmountable advantage even though Usyk would be considered more technically proficient.

Aye I thought the same before the AJ fight (although did have money on a late Usyk KO that day), but I think that bout and a couple of the Wilder-Fury ones show that the weight isn't necessarily an insurmountable problem.

Wilder had Fury almost down and out despite the 40-odd lb difference and gulf in boxing ability between those two. Although the weight would be a huge help for Fury in wrestling/clinching, Usyk has an absolute granite chin and still comes in at a weight comparable to Ali/Wilder; he's not a small guy.

Fury would be the big favourite with the bookies though I reckon, which makes me want it to happen more! Would be a masterclass on show either way for sure.

If memory serves, AJ has exercised his rematch clause with Usyk and Fury must face the winner of Dillian Whyte vs. Otto Wallin (30th Oct).

Check out my YouTube channel!
One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.

I'm hoping AJ - Usyk do the rematch in Kiev in February as it means it would be easy for me to attend. Would guess around March in Saudi though.

I can't see Fury fighting either Whyte or Wallin (again). I don't think he'd have a problem with dropping the WBC belt for a big payday vs AJ, or to get his hands on the other belts v Usyk.

That was a fantastic fight. Watched the whole thing earlier today after BBC/Sky etc did their best to tell me the result.

I actually thought the ref did slow count Fury. Wilder really impressed me. The man's got heart.

I think he might have done but don't think it made any difference to the fight. Fury was doing what a good boxer should, in using all the time available to him. He could have been ready quicker if needed.

Wilder really impressed me too; these two have superhuman mental strength.

Yeah. Not sure why he hasn't had his account verified though.

UFC 267 is on at a UK friendly time. About the only upside of Sportswashing with Abu Dhabi hosting it.

Haven't seen Khamzat Chimaev fight before but that was so 1 sided and reminiscent of Khabib's style. Very impressive!

Islam is the Khabib clone. He's so dominant.

Really looking forward to the Jan fight. Saying that would have preferred him to fight Jiri, Love him!

UFC 268:

Gaethje vs Chandler has to be a contender for fight of the year. Non stop punching for 15 minutes.

Usman vs Covington wasn't as good as the 1st fight but you can tell Usman has improved in those 2 years and he was already at the top to start with. Hard to see who beats him until time catches up with him.

Wtf was with everyone slipping though, some new anti coronavirus cleaning spray that's too greasy?

Last few cards I've watched had the slipping problem, particularly on sponsor logos. They need to sort that gooseberry fool out.

Gaethje fight was so strawberry floating good. Would've won me money as a double too if only Usman had managed to finish Colby. I thought that would be more one sided since Colby's barely fought since their first fight but fair play to CC, quite the warrior.

I skipped the rest of the card, was more a boxing focussed weekend for me.

Sky Sports in Liverpool last night was great; the tournament format was so fun to watch. Canelo also an absolute beast as always. 175 from here I guess.
